I stayed at the TulumBay Eco Beach Hotel with a friend because we wanted to be right on the water. It's a very simple, no-frills kind of place. Very clean, nice, simple beds with mosquito netting, a clean shower, and simple amenities. Everything was clean and provided what we needed. If you're expecting luxury this isn't the kind of place...

We had breakfast and lunch at TulumBay one day during our stay in Tulum. The location was perfect next to the beach, and the food was very good. We ate pancakes for breakfast and tacos for lunch. The service was also very good. We recommend this place to anyone who are looking for a nice place to stay at during...

The hotel is well located, it has a little beach area, more like a bay which is nice and a gazeebo for guests only. The rooms are quite rustic, with the essentials, very noisy since there are some bars infront with music all night and you are able to hear traffic all night long as well. The breakfast included is...

First of all, I really, really wanted to like this hotel. If you are looking for a decent, midrange hotel on the beach in Tulum, this is not it. When I am traveling, I tend to be somewhat easy going about a certain amount of noise, grunge, etc. but this experience was so bad that I could not just flow...

The size of the bed was not a queen as advertised and not for two people. The bed was little more than a single bed. If we had known about the real size of the bed we would never have booked it. We moved to another room for an additional $32 per night. We moved to a room with a...

The hotel is located right at a small beautiful beach. We were almost alone at the beach all days, and it was quiet. The hotel restaurant served delicious drinks at the beach. The rooms were cosy and clean, but the density of the air with no AC was a little challenging for to wikings from norway that is used to...

First of all – location and access: Tulum town is very easy to access from Cancun or Playa del Carmen by ADO bus – it is possible to buy ticket online or directly at the bus station (preferably day or two before planned journey). It is recommended to buy your ticket in advance as this is very popular way of...

I spent a week in this hotel, in one of the rooms on the second floor, facing the ocean. Waking up in this place was like a rebirth every single day. The surroundings are amazing and the simple standard makes you feel humble for what you got. The interior is typical Mexican but well kept and clean. The staff is...

It is very basic, for the price is ok, considering that is one of the cheapest in that area. It is clean and the people who work there are very friendly. Nevertheless, is not that difficult to have a good fan in the room, "ecological" doesn't have to be uncomfortable.

Good morning Thank of your commentary, the hotel needed to improve more and more. When you calls us "basic" on the one hand is the best compliment I could get us, us, Tulum is the same "basic". Ours is an eco-hotel that produces energy, using natural materials, layout of the place, as cabañas with palapas, which seeks to be part...
