If there were places on this Earth to name "Eden", Tita Tulum Hotel Ecologico is by far my vote. Built into the pristene powdery white sands of the Yucatan, These cabanas are rustic old Mexico style with modern amenities. Each has a "Double hammock landing" in front of each building facing the Carribean Sea. The staff is polite and helpfull,...

Had 3 nights here. Relative to the prices of other places along the water this was pretty good, but the hotel itself seemed a bit old. It was clean and tidy, but the sheets, curtains etc just seemed a bit old and weary. It had great hot water and electricity 24 hours. Food (b'fast only) was also great. Difficult to...

The accomodations are very nice, but simple, and they have a nice restaurant, but you'll need a car to get around unless you're okay with taking a taxi to town and nearby attractions.

I love getting into Mexico a little more, and not partaking in the resort scene. Tita Tulum is great for this. It's quiet, pristine, relaxing. I didn't want a TV . . . All I wanted was the beach out my door and the constant ocean breeze. The prices at Tita's restaurant are competitive with other restaurants in the area....

We arrived late at night and I was quite disappointed by cabin's look's, however decided to wait for day light to form opinion. Morning light did not bring much hope. Pictures posted on their website do not reveal cabin's problems: -holes between door and the wall, -rust on most metal objects, -stained sheets (not mentioning holes), -absence of electric outlets...

We arrived at Tita's at twilight after an arduous journey (these days, what other kind is there?) and it was the most magical introduction to Tulum we could possibly have. A full moon, a moody sky and the welcoming presence of Tita and her staff. Our rooms were spacious and clean and the origami towel swan was a nice touch...

This is the fifth time we have stayed at Tita's since 2006 and we loved the place. The beach there is just unsurpassed - with shade palapas and lots of chairs, wide, powder like sand, and a walk-in ocean - no rocks or major dips. The cabanas all have ocean views, even the ones in the back, with two hammocks...

the beach is really not my thing, but if it was, this would be the place. Any place right on the beach is going to be a bit gritty- I was impressed with how well they kept it clean. We stayed at another similar place in Tulum and this was FAR superior. Hot water was actually hot, the restaurant was...

This was my second trip to this property. The first time I rated it as a great place to stay and have recomended it to many friends. On this trip they flat out lied to me about the accommodations. Not confusion, but direct bald faced lied to me about what my cabana would consist of. I asked for #5 a...
