The best things I loved about this hotel include the following: 1. location, location, location: - By shuttle, it took us about 1 hr 45 mins to get from the Cancun airport to the hotel - once you get on the main road, ask your shuttle driver to stop at an Oxxo or 7/11 to get drinks and snacks for...

Most people in Tulum know about Paraiso Tulum (best beach in Mexico according to Tripadvisor) but not many people know about the hotel and villa that can be rented. There are obviously guests on property from about 10am until about 5pm and then you feel like you have the entire place to yourself. The staff is great and Silvia always...

Small, understated and quiet space on Playa Paraiso beach. Clean basic rooms. Attentive yet non-intrusive staff. Playa Paraiso is a public beach, not a private one attached to the hotel. It can get crowded. Young, bohemian types dominate. Gorgeous, warm turquoise sea water that is entirely swimmable. Beautiful white sand to sink your toes in. The hotel restaurant, Sensacions has...

Simple and clean hotel with best beach closest to the Tulum Mayan ruins. Rooms have air conditioners and beds are comfortable but rooms have two twins rather then one king/queen size. Restaurant is good and the cocktails delicious. I really liked that the hotel makes an effort to be eco friendly. Overall recommended if you are looking for a hotel...

A lovely hotel, right at the beach front. The hostess was kind, giving us advice on what to see in Tulum. The beach side being one of the most beautiful in the area, was a bit crowded from time to time, but the white sand beach was all worth it. The rooms at El Paraiso was high standart, with a...

Can't think of anything negative to say about this place! It's small and quiet with friendly, helpful staff. The beach is gorgeous and just steps out your door. Our room was very clean and honestly, have not had a hotel room cleaned this well in years! AC is great. Kid friendly. The included breakfast has local foods and is plenty....

The hotel is absolutely perfect for a relaxing stay at the most perfect beaches. I traveled with my mother to relax after trekking the coast with tours and other fast-paced attractions. The Room: 2 double beds, with TV, AC, lovely bathroom, and a cute patio. Step off the patio and your are walking on sand. In less than 100m you...

This is INCREDIBLE accommodation! Clean, modern rooms with good air con, wifi and amenities, and the cost is very reasonable to boot. Then walk out your front door to have your toes immediately in the white sand of the stunning beach with its clean, turquoise water. The hotel staff are friendly and professional, and the food at the restaurant was...

we spent day here, eat in the restaurant and drunk worth of 500$ (pesos). En route back security guy stopped us asking to pay entrance. Nothing listed on the way in. I replied I just east in your restaurant and spend 500 pesos, and she played dumb and called security. we got surrounded in 1 min by owner and security...

We came to this place after narrowly escaping the trash heap that is Cancun. I mean, we came to cliff jump cenotes and summit ancient pyramids, so we had no interest in Cancun anyway, however, after flying all night we rented a room in abyssal trench that is Cancun. We dropped $75USD and thought we'd get a decent room, but...

"Paradise is like exactly where you are right now…only much, much better" Laurie Anderson At El Paraiso Hotel we take great pride in the untouched nature of Tulum. We have therefore created a small hotel in harmony with nature without waiving the comfort of modern living. Our vast pristine white sandy beach and the calm crystal-clear waters invite to stress free beach days, water activities and romantic walks along the shore line. Cool off with a refreshing young coconut picked from one of our innumerable palm trees, take up diving or kite surfing, or just be, and let all your worries disappear while you relax in the shade of an umbrella.Explore the natural wonders and archeological sites of Tulum. One of the best preserved Mayan ruin is just around the corner from El Paraiso Hotel. The ruins set at the top of lime stone cliffs overlooking the waters offer visitors spectacular views. The Sian Kaan Biosphere, cenotes and caves hidden deep within the jungle, as well as national parks can all be found within short distance from our hotel. Add to this the second largest Reef in the world just off shore and the abundant marine life of the Caribbean, which has made Tulum and important and extraordinary location for all types of water sports. After a day at the beach or discovering the surrounding areas, El Paraiso Hotel is a place to relax, unwind and disconnect from the busy days of the normal life. Pamper yourself to a massage from our Spa services right on the beach with the waves of the ocean as the only sound, or revive the ancient Mayan tradition of worshipping the sunset joining us in our sunset yoga on the beach. ... more   less
