We stayed at this Comfort Inn for a hockey tournament. It’s a modest, older hotel - especially considering the beautiful hotels in the area and further away in Vail. But, if you’re on a budget and want a clean hotel near skiing, hiking, etc.., that serves breakfast this will serv

Dear 6Liddells, Thank you for your review. We are happy you were comfortable at our hotel during your recent hockey tournament stay. We're pleased to be the affordable lodging option in our high end destination resort area, and we are in the planning phases for property updates to come. While you were here, we hope you enjoyed one or two of the seven restaurants located across the street and within a short walk of our hotel. We hope you'll come back to stay with us again and enjoy Nottingham Park and Lake, our year-round outdoor heated pool and hot tub and some of our local Avon shops. Sincerely, Sue F. Director of Sales

This was a very nice motel, once we found it. Not being used to the area, we drove past it twice before realizing that it was behind the trees. very little out side signage. Didn't help that there was construction going on right in front of motel too. Front desk was very helpful

I stayed here on a Tuesday evening and the hotel seemed full. The fire alarm for the entire hotel went off at 3am. The guests in the room across from me had called the front desk and asked what was going on and they were told “we don’t know”. We weren’t told to evacuate nor were

Dear Lauren, On behalf of our team, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience you experienced. Unfortunately, when a fire alarm goes off, it needs to be handled as if there is a fire and guests should always evacuate. Better safe than sorry. Even in the middle of the night. Ugh. It turned out to be an alarm triggered in our elevator and the cause needed to be investigated. The cause of this "false alarm" is still being investigated by our contracted alarm company. Our limited overnight staff must communicate with the fire department and guests at the same time which requires them to sometimes leave the phones unattended and questions unanswered until we are able to speak with the fire department to determine the status. With our lobby in a separate building, it would have been a better "waiting" area, and we are sorry there wasn't staff to give that direction to you this time. We are reviewing our nighttime procedures with staff in an effort to improve communication with our guests should an event like this occur in the future. This was a rare occurrence, and we certainly hope you will return in the future so we may show you a much better stay experience. Thank you for your understanding, and again, please accept our apologies. Sincerely, Sue F. Director of Sales

Stayed here for early morning access to the Steadman Clinic in Vail Village next morning. This was the least expensive room on the west side of Vail Pass—you’d have to stay in Frisco/Dillon/Silverthorne to pay less. We were very pleasantly surprised at the spacious, clean, comfor

Is there a shuttle to Vail Village?
Hi Bob, There is a bus available from Avon to Vail for about $5 per person each way. It leaves from the Avon Transportation hub about 3 blocks away. You may either walk to the "hub" or take the free Town of Avon bus which stops right in front of our hotel. Looking forward to having you as our guest! Sue
