Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I stayed in Sukhayus Fort Cochin for 2 days and had an amazing stay! The place is opposite to Pepper House (a Kochi Muziris Biennale venue) and has a very nice vibe as you enter. The staff was helpful, the massage was very relaxing.
The place is close to key tourist attractions and we enjoyed our walk through the streets exploring Fort Cochin. Would highly recommend the place.

We had lunch here after my wife had had an excellent therapeutic massage. The food was cooked to order, delicious vegetables cooked in Keralan tradition and fresh fish grilled to perfection. My wife enjoyed the massage. We didn't stay at Sukhayus but the property looked beautiful and serene just off the busy Calvathy Road.

Had booked a ten days Ayurveda treatment at Sukhayus Ayurveda Cherai Beach. Thought it will be too short, but didn’t have more time. The fantastic treatments helped very well though - thanks to the fantastic doctors and therapists.
Before going there, I stayed three nights at Sukhayus Fort Cochin. What a fantastic location to explore the old city of Kochi with it’s beautiful sights! I definitely want to go back and experience it all again. The serene beauty of the Backwaters, the vibrance of Fort Cochin and all the lovely people can make you feel addicted!

Hello, I didn't end-up staying here in the end, as I cancelled my booking after I emailed with a couple of questions. It turns-out, they are now owned by a different company and are called Aamri Fort Wellness. I had wanted to check that it was definitely a property with a pool & was informed that it was only for male guests to use during daylight hours! They would have charged me the same money, but treated me like a second class citizen and nowhere does it state this key information on their sites. This doesn't feel like a safe space for female travellers, especially if they are alone. I just thought this information should be available in case someone booked & ruined their stay in the city.

Highly overpriced massage, not nice. While it charges you for one hour of massage they include steam and shower within that time so the massage is basically for 30mins. That makes it the most expensive massage ever. Service too is highly sub standard

This was the last place we stayed in India and very much enjoyed; great location in Fort Kochi to get around and take in all that goes on there - most things are a walk or a short tuk tuk trip away. All the staff were very helpful and gave a great service; the chef made us food for our early morning start as we'd miss breakfast. Great to have a pool too; a lovely cool haven from the streets outside. Rooms are spacious and very clean. A lovely short and sweet stay thank you

I am writing this review while staying here. Till now, the stay is only 1 night old and everything is bang on from the ambience to the room to breakfast and lunch. I am looking forward to the ayurvedic massage, which is scheduled for later today. There are many other residents here who have come for a regular ayurvedic treatment but our prime reason was to get away from the North Indian winter.

This ayurvedic resort is at the heart of Fort Kochi, a lot of happening place. Nice surroundings, minimal but clean and spacious interiors in a herltage building. Very courteous staff and good restaurant. The Ayruverdic treatment is nice and relaxing. The treatments include morning yoga, customized ayurvedic procedures and evening meditation. Very relaxing and peacful environment.

I did some sampling of oil massages while in Fort Kochi and Sukhayus topped my list. I got a 4 hands, 1 hours Abhyanga oil massage (2500 rupees) -the iconic Ayurveda massage experience. It was easy to book, the facility is lovely, we were greeted with a tasty fruit juice, and Dr Deepthi even greeted us before the massage.
This place is a retreat center, and I think a lot of people come and stay here and do more full on, multi-day/week treatments. However, as a drop-in person, looking to have a novel experience were were very well cared for and our experience was taken seriously.
The massage itself was much better than the same massage I got at another place, masseurs with better hands and seemingly more training. A highlight that I was not expecting is that the massage was followed by a steam box (one of these small saunas that your head sticks out of). I also appreciated that the staff was attentive and informed me of their product line (which actually has a good ingredient list) but was not hassling and pushing.
Note: they also do 7:45am daily yoga in a lovely upstairs studio, (clean) mats included, 500 rupees drop-in. Best class I have done in India so far!

We stayed at Ayana next door but booked ourselves a two hour treatment each at Sukhayus. It was wonderful to have two therapist each to pamper us. I especially remember my “lead” therapist Krishna who was very kind and gentle in manner but gave a nice strong massage. The doctor was also very nice, informative, and accommodating. Thank you! I’ve already planned my next trip and look forward to seeing you again.
