Leokwe Camp has an amazing setting. Surrounded by baobab trees and clifs brings on a sense of peacefulness. Well equipped rooms and a beautiful rock pool make it a very comfortable stay. Don't expect it to be teaming with wildlife but also expect to see some wonderful animals. Oryx, eland, elephant and the beautiful klipspringer. The topography is inspiring and the ultimate...

The accommodation is a good way from the main gate. It's totally private. The shower is outside, and it was one of the best showers in our 6wk trip. The beds were so comfy with crisp fresh bedding, they were a pleasure to climb into every night. However, our sofa was filthy dirty. We had to ask for something to...

We booked a two bed unit at Leokwe Camp, and were given number 17. What a stunning place. The rooms were beautiful with outside showers, each with own bathroom and the patio overlooked the river bed, where we saw an enormous amount of game. Lovely facilities in the most interesting park, wi8th landscapes that are breathless. No shop, so you...

Set in the middle of Mapungubwe NP and not fenced this is a magic place to stay. The units are very comfortably appointed and designed to give each unit privacy. Big rock outcrops make for a dramatic setting especially at sunrise or sunset. Easy access to the Limpopo River makes this an ideal base for seeing the park. Great swimming...

Superb bungalow set amongst stunning red rock formations baobabs on the banks of the Limpopo. Braai whilst watching wildebeest, zebra and impala and saw elephant, giraffe and roan amongst others plus several bee eaters. Be sure to bring everything you need except firewood which we bought at the restaurant, it is a long way to either Messina or Alldays. No...

A beautiful place with a special atmosphere, thanks to the stunning panoramas and sunset. The heritage tour was very interesting and the views from the Confluence point are absolutely fabulous. We saw several elephants and a whole bunch of monkeys. We shared a rondavel with two adults and two children. The sofabed however is not suitable for older kids (10...

This was my second visit. We stayed for 2 nights. The location of the camp is magic. Chalets are well equipped for self-catering. There is a resident eland, not shy at all. We also saw a bush buck and many birds. Good starting point to explore the magnificent National Park.

The siting of this camp is in stunning scenery. The bungalow has had some thought put into it with well positioned windows, window ledges and an outside shower with piping hot water as a bonus. We lacked for nothing and found it clean very private although the neighbours were close. I was peaceful and quite exciting knowing there are no...

Beautiful place to learn about the origin gslah and history of Southern Africa and it's link with the civilisation. The artifacts lays bare the metallurgical prowess of Southern Africans. The rich trade that occurred between the North and South. This is complemented by the rich wilderness safari that's synonymous with South Africa in a natural unspoilt river environment. Don't miss...
