When I think about CASA DE LA NOCHE and its owner, Barbara, an old Spanish phrase comes to mind: Mi Casa Es Su Casa. From the moment my wife and I checked in, to the day we checked out, Barbara made us feel as though we were longtime friends. The English speaking staff was equally gracious. Special kudos to the...

On my first visit to SMA, I chose to stay at Casa de la Noche and could not have made a better choice for friendly, courteous and professional assistance in creating and enjoying a personalized experience. Can't say enough good things about the owner and staff, and the premises are beautifully maintained with gardens and indoor relaxing areas. Have travelled...

San Miguel de Allende is a great place to visit, but the real reason we go is because we love Casa de la Noche so much! The wonderful breakfasts out in one of many delightful courtyards, the amazing staff who will bend over backwards to assist you any way they can, the beauty, history and atmosphere of the place, the...

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the hotel staff took excellent care of us. Highlights: smooth check-in after 11 pm; made a special breakfast for us when we missed the breakfast hour due to a misunderstanding; provided good guidance for things to do in the area; got us better taxi rates than we could get on...

Thanks for all these notes about the service here! My staff even surprise me sometimes with the extra help they provide... This is the first I've heard about calling in for taxi help, But why not! We have a great arrangement with a couple of drivers and these contacts really help in a pinch! Please come again!

My husband and I enjoyed 5 nights at Casa de la Noche. Everyone was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left! This is such an interesting and historic place to stay and every room or gathering place is beautifully decorated. They have included artistic tributes to their past as a bordello as well as maintaining...

While Casa de la Noche was, at one time, a bordello, Barbara (the current owner) has renovated the place into a really fine bed and breakfast. The place is charming. It is wonderfully decorated, with beautiful artwork all over the place. The staff could not be nicer, nor could Barbara, herself. They are all very knowledgeable about all aspects of...

After a week here with 5 friends, we were still discovering yet another cool courtyard or a sunny seat by a bookcase or another art treasure... Casa de la Noche is delightful. Each duo thought their suite was the best. We loved our shower with a view and the enormous quiet living space overlooking the breakfast courtyard in KissMeAgain. Best...

My partner and i stayed here in the Mariposa room for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The staff is extremely kind and helpful with suggestions and directions. The b&b is about a 5 minute walk to the Jardin / town center, so youre not far from the action but can come home to a very quiet and peaceful setting....

From the outside Casa de la Noche looks small...the grounds are huge inside. Lots of different sitting areas to enjoy both inside and outside. Spent 3 nights. Rooms vary from small to big suites, we had 2 working girl rooms Chiquita and Jovita. (Place used to be a brothel) Both were clean, good beds, nice linens. Jovita was down then...

A very kind review,Thank you! San Miguel has changed so much! Our street used to be the secret one because locals could always find parking..no secrets now! We are negotiating right now for a spot for guest parking just steps away. Wish us luck! Barbara

“During the warmer months, you might ask for a room with a ceiling fan, though portable ones are available and work just as well.”

“Mariposa has private bath, twin beds that can be made as a king, wifi from garden area, and very nice shared common room/full kitchen.”
davidwilliford, 17 May 2017 | Read review
“We stayed in Madam's Suite which had a kitchenette with a microwave and a living area. It is a spacious room overlooking a courtyard. The room was well kept and clean. It is also facing Organos Street which means you'll be awakened by happy Mexican music from the cars going by as early as 4 a.m. Also, being in Centro, roosters and dogs are up before the sun, and you might be too if you don't wear earplugs. If you don't need a large suite like this, you might try for a room in the back of the hotel. Never having spent a night in the back, I'm not sure it's much quieter.”
