It is very nice little hotel with a great service and layout. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant seems a great option for the night, though we did not try it out. The only problem was a construction taking place nearby and it was a little noisy. Still, a great option that would like to repeat.

It has a nice reception area. Rooms are old and smell horrible. Front desk staff I would rate 6. Bathroom are old fixtures and need updating. Rooms resemble the the 70era. I don't recommend it at the prices they charge.

Thou is far from downtown (nothing is really far in San Miguel actually). The place is very nice with private pools fireplace in each room. Very hidden in a hill. Romantic and nice rooms. Personal is polite and very friendly. Rooms are huge and the restaurante is better to skip

I actually did not stay at the hotel although I had a reservation and was charged for the room. I was travelling to San Miguel by motorcycle and had a small accident along the way, fortunately no injuries but the bike could not continue. I called and explain the situation and they were completely unmoved, even treated me sarcastically. I...

We stayed in La Puertecita for our first visit to San Miguel de Allende and were very impressed by both San Miguel itself and the quality of La Puertecita. The grounds are spectacular and convey a real sense of tranquility. Living in Mexico City, this is a fantastic get away location to recharge and release the stresses of urban life....

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are cozy and the staff offers personalized service, always with a joyful attitude. We made a couple of special requests to the staff and they responded way beyond our expectations. I mean, they even went off the premises in the middle of the night to fetch us our midnight snack! Amazing! I couldn't ask...

Boutique is an overstament for this hotel. Attention is great from front desk to services. Rooms are clean and comfortable. In my room bathroom had no ventilation wich was really disturbing, brick and tile bathtub does not invite to use it at all. Pool fine and warm, probably the best experience in the facility. We were looking for spa which...

I stayed on la peurtecita for 2 nights. The Hotel is good, the staff are really friendly. And they know english. The only hiccup was the wifi availability in my room which is not of great concern, if you step into the lobby it works. The restaurant offers really good food. The location of this hotel is ideal, it is...

The hotel is built in a very nice spot with nice view and room but, for the price charged, offer a very poor service... Swimming pool was not heated (dirty most of the time) breakfast took a long time to be served, hot water in the room was not constant and the reception staff did not really matter with the...
