Highly recommended for traditional architecture, abundant comfort, and warm hospitality, while very reasonably priced. Terrific centro location, but very quiet, too. The only caution is the in house restaurant that is pretty bland, though convenient if catching a plane or in a hurry.

Have visited San Miguel many times and this is my second stay here. Basic room amenities, don't expect luxury but somewhat comfort and tranquility. The view is mesmerizing. The staff is helpful. Is very close to the Centro. For breakfast go to Lavanda Cafe or Oso Azul, for a nice lunch or dinner go to Luna Bar at Rosewood or...

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel itself is very basic. My shower would hardly work until I screwed the shower head off. The cleaning was OK as long as you don't look up. The ledge around the bathroom at about head height was very dusty. Otherwise clean and tidy. Bedding is very average. Hangers in the cupboards just bent...

We were about to check out this hotel which I've known since girl, but as soon as we parked in front of the hotel and it was literally the street and a park free zone (really hard for san miguel to find), the owner peeked out the window (which you could tellhe does often) and yelled we were blocking his...

First time visiting San Miguel de Allende, stayed two nights at Hotel Posada de las Monjas, room #54 for $675.00 Mx pesos (that's $44.35 US dollars). It's a very safe and historical hotel with friendly and helpful staff, a fantastic balcony city sunset view and free parking. No land phone or TV, but who needs it when you get strong...

I stay at this hotel annually with US students I take to Mexico. The building is a wonderful old stone structure. My students, who have not been in Mexico long, are overwhelmed with the beauty of the structure. The rooms feel a little old but very adequate. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is great - about...

This simple hotel was perfect for everything I wanted in SMA. Convenient (3 blocks from central plaza), gorgeous and quiet, extremely helpful staff, and easy on the budget. The rooms are spare, with no TV, but the internet connection was strong, and I had everything I wanted. Luxury this is not, but for me it was perfect. And my stay...

I would stay again. This place is centrally located to all. It was cozy & clean. The staff was very pleasant. The owner gave a us a little history about the hotel and city, which was very interesting. I felt very comfortable & safe. Parking on premises was a plus. Our room had no TV but it didn't matter cause...

The room was wonderful. High ceilings with wood beams and large crucifix in keeping with the posada's heritage. Great view. Quiet. Wonderful price. Skip the restaurant, seemed overpriced. Helpful and friendly innkeepers.
