I have stayed there many times. The hotel is very clean and basic and centrally located. It is a beautiful hotel as well as are many others in San Miguel! It has become non-competitive when it comes to price. I had to go to the courtyard for the wi-fi to work - should advertise wi-fi in public areas. Old hotel...

We arrived at the hotel on the tail end of a busy weekend in Mex. They did have rooms, but only at 1100 pesos a night. This was a beautiful room, cool, quiet and full of history. The next two nights we slept in room number 1, at 700 pesos, street side, with cool floor length wooden shutters and a...

My wife and I have driven the length of Mexico five times and when we stayed in San Miguel, this was our spot. There certainly are fancier rooms, no doubt there are friendlier staffs, and for sure there must be more private hotels than Parador San Sebastian. However, the price was right, the location was, central, and the old monastery had...

Don't be put off by the "no reservations" rule. We walked in and got a room right away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful, a little gem in this town. It is spotlessly clean and well looked after. No TV or phone in the room, which is a plus in our opinion, we are happy...

We arrived in San Miguel during Semana Santa and were happy to find availability at the Parador San Sebastian. Its location is superb on Mesones about three blocks from the main square. Our room was basic but clean, and also very quiet. The courtyard has a great deal of charm, especially the Cervantes statue. All in all, we enjoyed our...

We wished we had more time here. A restful and very inviting place to stay with friends. The courtyard makes the place. The town is wonderful. The people are even better and our highlight was the cactus botanic garden above the town.

If you are looking for an authentically Mexican place in San Miguel de Allende, but don't want to spend a lot, the Parador de San Sebastián is a good choice. It is charming and full of plants, a real old style Mexican hotel. Not much in the way of luxury, but great for the price.

Parador San Sebastian is an extremely charming hotel in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. The rates are incredibly reasonable and the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The majority of the rooms overlook a fabulous courtyard replete with amazing foliage. There are no TV's in the room (there is a general TV room), and I found that...

This is a great hotel for backpackers! We stayed in a single room in March 2013 for 500 pesos. Excellent value for the neatness and simplicity of the hotel. No TV, telephone or wi/fi, but hey! we were in center of San Miguel de Allende. The bed was a tad harder than I´m used to, but still very good. The...

Stayed for nearly a month in one of their apartments, was great value and bright and good. Internet however is useless throughout hotel, actually in most of san miguel! has rooftop area, nice courtyard, rooms are fine, sheets clean, thin towels, quite quiet, no reservations except for apartments, only one TV in hotel, located in lounge area, no phones in...
