My group occupied 3 rooms for 2 nights at the Casa - Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera & Georgia O'keefe. We were all very impressed with the room decor & comfortable beds & had no problems with noise throughout the night. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast of eggs Mexicana each morning, along with fruit, juice & coffee - a great way...

Everything about Casa Calderoni was better than expected, and even better than promised. The property is just lovely, the staff is courteous and helpful, service is superb, the food is delicious and the proprietors are warm, welcoming, gracious hosts. After a week at Casa Calderoni, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in San Miguel. They has set the bar far...

The B & B is simply beautiful; a historic structure, a visual experience filled with art, elegance, and especially kindness. The staff was wonderful, (special regards to Luis), the rooms were boutique quality, the breakfast filled with the authenic flavors of the region as produced by the gracious staff, and the tranquilness of environment produced a constant serene landscape which...

My 20-year-old son and I spent four nights at Casa Calderoni, in the Gaugin suite at the top of the B&B. . Doors opening onto our balcony provided a phenomenal view of the city. And yes, with the doors and windows (both screened) open for pleasant breezes, the church bells and the dogs can keep a light sleeper awake, but...

We have just returned from 4 days at Casa Calderoni in San Miguel Allende, Mexico. I would highly recommend staying there when in San Miguel. We worked with them via email prior to our trip and they had a suburban and driver waiting for us at the airport in Leon when we arrived. It was a pleasant drive to San...

We just returned from our first trip to San Miguel after a wonderful stay at Casa Calderoni. The property is a convenient walk to El Jardin, shopping, restaurants and art galleries. We can't say enough about the kindness and helpful attention given us by Luis Villanueva, the General Manager, who provided helpful information and answers to any question asked of...

I was a guest at Casa Calderoni for two weeks in late June and early July. I was in San Miguel to study Spanish, was traveling alone, and was looking for a place that was safe, comfortable, and convenient. After an extensive search I settled on Casa Calderoni, based on location, accomodations, and price. I couldn't have been happier with...

This is the third place I have stayed while visiting San Miguel and I will go back there. It is in a convenient downtown location yet far enough away from the city center that it is quiet. The room and staff were wonderful. My sister and I stayed in the Georgia O'Keefe room and loved our courtyard view and our...

A friend and I spent 3 nights at Casa Calderoni and thought it was wonderful. There wasn't anything that we didn't like. The room was small, but lovely, and the public spaces were very nice, and the location was great. The owners were there for breakfast each morning and were able to provide great information about the area, and the...
