Wow. This hotel/B&B was fabulous. We felt like we were the only people here! It is run by a Mexican and American couple and only has 6 well appointed rooms. The staff were very friendly and the setting is beautiful. There is a lovely rooftop terrace as well. The breakfasts were a highlight and featured Mexican and American food. The... More

Owner /manager is very friendly and attentive and speaks good English. The remainder staff does not speak or understand much English. All very friendly though. Mario the security guard , is available at all times to call a cab, let you out of the gated parking lot. Also will bring your luggage to and from your vehicle. This hotel only... More

We just spent a long week-end enjoying the city and Casa Mision. The hotel is charming and well kept with a gracious and attentive staff. Beautiful location down a private walkway lined with art galleries and a yoga studio. Easy walk to Centro. If we travel to San Miguel de Allende again I would definitely stay at Casa Mision.

We stayed here over the New Year's holiday during peak tourist time in San Miguel. I cannot express how gracious and helpful and attentive everyone at Casa Mision was during our stay. It was truly such a great experience - firstly the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and CLEAN. It is a magical courtyard and very intimate hotel; each room... More

We stayed at Casa Mission de San Miquel a week ago. We arrived around 6:00pm and we were met by a young, very unfriendly night manager who escorted us to our room. We stayed here for 3 nights and never once were asked how our stay was going or were met by or introduced to the manager. The hour before... More

Dear Customer, We regret that you found our service and decor lacking and that you were not properly pampered during you stay with us. As you may see from comments about us, you are the exception. From your comment about our stuff I can only judge that you have confused shyness for rudeness. Perhaps on youre next trip to San... More

I was introduced to this place by my brother, a long-time resident of San Miguel. The owner, Ethan Emery is a very talented chef, having operated a restaurant in Bangkok for 10 years. He is also a very entertaining raconteur, and always has plenty of stories to charm his guests. This place is over 300 years old. It was initially a... More

I really came to this hotel by accident, thinking that it was a big hotel. This is a small hotel, better compared to a nice high quality guesthouse. It has only 6 rooms, and only one has a TV. The whole building has a nice colonial touch. The rooms are clean and with a nice smell. Breakfast is usually included... More

Our first time in San Miguel, and we picked the right hotel. It's at the end of a residential street, on a gated alley. Upon entering, which the door is always locked, you walk into a nice, large courtyard surrounded by the Hotel on three sides, and a tree covered hill. The staff were outstanding, from Tere the host, Mario... More
