This hotel is about a half block off of their Main Street, so it's a bit quieter. Our room is quite large. One thing missing, and I see it regularly in hotels in N Vietnam, there are no luggage racks. We end up putting things on the chair and the floor.

There are two hotels with the same name that belong to the same owner. The old one is in the city center. A minute from the market that worth a visit. The a hotel is clean and looks ok. However, we continue to the new one that is located -2km from the center. It is newer and bigger. The rooms... More

We stayed here two nights. Since cao bang is a really small village we did not expect much. The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast is nothing special. It's a good choice for cao bang, cheap and clean.

The breakfast was standard and simple, but ok. This town not have many hotels choices, but very recommended to stay and visit the Ban... More

I believe there are two Thanh Loan Hotels that are owned by the same person. We stayed at the one that is a kilometer or so outside of the downtown. The room, which is accessible by elevator, was really spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable that I've slept in - firm but not... More

My first night in Cao Bang was in a different hotel and was horrible. I arrived here early and was shown a room on the first floor that was huge and clean. It was a fraction dark with the colour scheme but it was only 350k VND without breakfast a night and there is an excellent Banh cuon place next... More

Stayed here as part of a trip around Northern Vietnam. Large basic bedroom, usual rock hard bed, no kettle, aubergine suite (blast from the past!) We were on floor two at the back so quiet enough. Still not much English spoken but we had a guide with us. Breakfast OK - bread roll and eggs. Great market nearby although did... More

Everything about this place is "hard", starting with the owner, who barely made eye contact with us, but just commanded the rest of the staff (who were more friendly). The display what appeared to be roadkill mounted in the reception area, lent a certain ... ambience .... to this place. The bedroom was large, but sparingly furnished. Two hard wood... More

We stayed two nights in the hotel, room 201 (1st floor just at the top of the stair case, on the landing). The room is very spacious, with TV, fridge and a large bathroom with shower and WC. This room is rather noisy because you can hear the telephone ringing in the reception office at night, or people talking in... More

We stayed here for only one night while visiting Ban Gioc Waterfall. Room was large, but there were some issues. Staff (the mum?) on front counter spoke very minimal English, and her sons(?) made no effort to get up from eating their dinner to help with the request for some batteries so that the aircon remote could turn on the...
