Spent 1 night in a lovely room with an excellent view of the sea loch and surrounding area. Room had everything required, service was excellent and food was really good. Slight mix up with our booking but we were more than adequately compensated for the slight irritation.

We stayed 4 nights. Hotel was spotless. A great welcome and the staff hard working, wonderful and polite (full marks to Holly) The rooms on the front have spectacular views of Loch Fyne including the residents lounge on the first floor which has a large picture window - see photo. However there is a busy road to the front which... More

Our principal reason for staying at this hotel was because a previous owner was Sir Fitzroy MacLean, soldier, traveller and writer. In this we were disappointed as the only reference to him was a few photographs in the bar. However, our stay was very comfortable with a spacious room with a lovely view of Loch Fyne. Two very comfortable residents... More

Warm and comfortable. Very friendly welcome and delightful staff. We were late arriving and had an excellent meal. Breakfast excellent enhanced by a glorious autumn morning and overwhelming views. The rooms are delightful and the intriguing layout of the building is fascinating.

Two couples spent two nights in this cosy hotel on the shores of Loch Fyne. The bedrooms were spacious and clean with lots of added extras. Room 12 has its own sitting room and you can lie in bed in Room 10 and gaze at the amazing view. We ate in a lovely bistro with delicious food chosen from a... More

We recently stayed in the Creggans for a couple of nights, eating there each evening. First impressions were very positive. Our room was at one end of the building, and was large, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a good size, and the bed was big and comfy. We also liked the upstairs resident's lounge, with a large picture... More

The hotel is by the old pier and part of the seafood trail. We had a warm welcome and shown to our room which was of a reasonable standard. Our room was at the front and situated in a corridor linking two parts of the hotel so could be a little noisy at times but this wasn't an issue. Nice... More

Feeling lucky to have found a delightful dog friendly house in Strachur, we couldn't believe our luck to have The Creggans Inn within walking distance. The bar, where they allow dogs, shares the same menu as the restaurant and the food is delicious. Very professionally run with friendly staff and a warm and comfortable atmosphere. I have enjoyed Sea Bass... More

We stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast on a rainy night/morning at the end of September. Our welcome - from Jill - was warm and friendly and this set the tone for a first class dinner and overnight stay. The atmosphere in both bar and restaurant was good, and service overall faultless. Food was excellent - thoughtfully prepared and presented... More
