We arrived here at 2pm hoping to get lunch, they serve until 2.30 so we were very lucky. Scallops with black pudding, bacon bits and apple purée to start, cannot fault it, delicious flavours, could have happily eaten more. No burgers left so my daughter, although she was very disappointed, really enjoyed her 2nd choice of cheese and tuna panini....

We stayed here overnight and had a lovely bedroom with great views of Loch Fyne. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was also good with a wide variety of food. The Inn was previously owned by Sir Fitzroy MacLean, diplomat, adventurer and writer - and apparently the inspiration for the character of James Bond.

Had a lovely stay here between Christmas and New year. The staff are a friendly helpful lot and give great service even the dog had a great time. Great views down Loch Fyne and over to Inverary. Glenbranter is definitely worth a visit too and is only a couple of miles away, great for walking the dog.

We had an excellent dinner this week. Beautifully cooked fresh local produce. The scallops and lamb were outstanding. Service was impeccable. A really family run success story. Keep up the good work. We did not use the accoommodation but I know it is excellent.

Spent 1 night in a lovely room with an excellent view of the sea loch and surrounding area. Room had everything required, service was excellent and food was really good. Slight mix up with our booking but we were more than adequately compensated for the slight irritation.

We stayed 4 nights. Hotel was spotless. A great welcome and the staff hard working, wonderful and polite (full marks to Holly) The rooms on the front have spectacular views of Loch Fyne including the residents lounge on the first floor which has a large picture window - see photo. However there is a busy road to the front which...

Our principal reason for staying at this hotel was because a previous owner was Sir Fitzroy MacLean, soldier, traveller and writer. In this we were disappointed as the only reference to him was a few photographs in the bar. However, our stay was very comfortable with a spacious room with a lovely view of Loch Fyne. Two very comfortable residents...

Warm and comfortable. Very friendly welcome and delightful staff. We were late arriving and had an excellent meal. Breakfast excellent enhanced by a glorious autumn morning and overwhelming views. The rooms are delightful and the intriguing layout of the building is fascinating.

Two couples spent two nights in this cosy hotel on the shores of Loch Fyne. The bedrooms were spacious and clean with lots of added extras. Room 12 has its own sitting room and you can lie in bed in Room 10 and gaze at the amazing view. We ate in a lovely bistro with delicious food chosen from a...
