Went on the suggestion of a family member who lives locally but had not been since it reopened. Attractive surroundings and good food, but not sure worth the price. The pate was good but only one small piece of toast meant much of the large slice of pate could not be eaten. The main courses were delicious but not much...

Shower not working, breakfast inedible, girl 'in charge' kept saying I need to ask 'my manager', and rather than just offering a discount, we personally had to ask for s reduction in price. This was such a disappointing visit, as I had been to this pub in October 2016 where the previous owner had done everything to make us feel...

Always a reliable place to eat. A good country pub with a good selection of draft beer (and a CAMRA pub of the year) with a good menu. We eat there regularly and did so a few weeks ago with friends and were delighted by the meal. So my wife and I went back last night and had an outstanding...

We popped in for a drink on Friday night and wished we could have stayed longer. Beer was well kept and wine choice extensive. Even the dog was offered a bowl of water. The charming landlord introduced himself and locals were up for some banter. One of those uniquely British experiences. To be repeated.

The Inn and location reminded me of :-" those who lived in Upper Oddington, didn`t speak to the those that lived in Lower Oddington" from Midsummer Murders!! - BUT that is where the similarities end!, it is an idyllic spot to explore this very beautiful part of the country. The Inn was comfortable and welcoming, Simon was a great host,...

We had a great time in the Horse & Groom on a short trip to oddington, we ate twice and loved both meals. The staff were accommodating and the prices for the food and drink were very reasonable for such a beautiful location.

I tried to book a room for a Saturday evening but was told that whilst there was availability we couldn't have the room unless we stayed two nights; we stayed somewhere else. We tried to come for a drink on the Saturday afternoon, the H&J was closed. Likewise Sunday afternoon. It might be brilliant if you can get in. If,

We are staying at a different bed and breakfast that surpasses every expectation but chose the Horse and Groom for Christmas Day dinner. We arrived late and the host's warning that our meal would have to be pushed forward as the wait staff wanted to be home for Christmas dinner made for an awkward start but the evening improved with...

Just off the beaten track and away from the madding crowds is a wonderful free house sitting in the heart of this Cotswold village but with ample parking and an incredibly warm welcome from the owners. I'd stay here anytime of year but the winter promises a magnificent log fire burning and sitting in the wing back chairs listening to...

We found this pub after leaving Stow on the Wold as we could not find anywhere to park! It is in a pleasant setting and we had delicious sandwiches. The service was good and it was a shame that we were only passing through and could not stop for a proper meal.
