One of the great things about any Secrets property is that you encounter few if any surprises. Such was the case at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. Quality food, great location, superb customer-focused staff. While the property is showing some wear and tear -- numerous tiles in the room should be replaced, for example -- there's nothing that would preclude this traveler from recommending the resort without hesitation.
We absolutely loved our time at secrets!! They are going above and beyond in order to make you feel safe covid wise. The grounds are so beautiful! Our room was beautiful as well! We love love loved the barracuda bar & Juan! Muy Bueno coconut mojitos & spicy margaritas! This whole place was beyond our expectations 💯💯💯
This was our fourth time to Puerto Los Cabo and as usual it was a great 10 day trip. What really makes this place is the staff. In particular Abelardo (Chalkie) and Roberto at the pool and Marybell at the Market Café. Some of the friendliest and hard working people you will meet. They all remember your names and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is prefect. Since this is our fourth stay here we did notice one distinct change, maybe due to cost cutting which was sad. The house wine was undrinkable and the "New" champagne tasted more like chardonnay with no fizz, and the orange juice tasted like tang. In addition, some of the same booze tasted different from bar to bar. Almost dare I say watered down? What's up with that? Let's be honest, one of the major draws is the "unlimited" booze feature and it should be good and consistent. If you want a regular bottle of champagne it will set you back $100 US. Bottled wine at dinner will cost between $60 - $200 US. Last year, if you ordered glasses of champagne it was the same champagne that would cost you a $100 if you ordered a bottle. Now you get Prosecco and tang. The rooms and facilities are fantastic. Overall a great vacation, but if they start scrimping on food and booze, we'll look elsewhere, unfortunately.…
I came here with my friends who are a couple, we all had a great time. Tons to do, great experience, and the staff has a great memory. From Pedro at the reception to Erik, Christian, Pablo, and Fernando at the bars. Sit by the pool and ask for Zuleika, Salaman, or Roberto they were all great. Not only learned and remembered my name, but what I liked to eat, drink, and do. Eat at Oceana and see Rebeca. And don’t forget to visit Lucas and Roberto during the shows or at putt putt. Thanks to every one of you for making our stay great.
Today is our last morning here at secrets. We found it very tranquil and friendly. The grounds are beautiful. They go to extremes to keep the guests safe in the time of Covid. What was really remarkable were the people, too many to county Estafani and Cesar at the preferred pool always were there waiting for us to set up our spot and bring us our drinks. Marco in Portofinos and Charlie the cook at the Teppanyaki both went above and beyond. Charlie is a master artist. Carlos is super. There were many others who went above and beyond but sadly I can’t remember all of their names! The Thermal area of the spa is excellent. They limited it to only two other people. It was well worth doing. My only complaint is that the food was spotty. Some like the Hibachi was great, the Seaside Grill was also really good. The rest were not as good. The fish could be mushy. Breakfast sometimes cold but for an all inclusive of decent quality. The Omelettes were especially yummy. The rooms were beautiful. The views remarkable. I definitely recommend Secrets.…
