We recently traveled as a couple and desperately needed to take a break from the screen. We felt really safe during our trip as the hotel is committed to proper safety measures. The onsite COVID testing is convenient and easy. And if you want to relax and reset, this is the place. It is even more beautiful than the photos online and the care that they put into every detail is astonishing. There are many other five star hotels to choose that stand on reputation alone. But The Viceroy Los Cabos is refined, modern luxury at its finest. Their approach is fresh and you can tell that they take service and feedback very seriously. Honestly, every single employee we interacted with provided exceptional service. I wish had I taken greater care of committing everyone's names to memory as they had to remembering mine. Truly one of the best travel experiences we have had that left us rejuvenated and inspired about our upcoming busy season at work. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by Jonathan who truly set the tone for our experience. Additionally, there were two poolside employees were incredible (I want to say their names both were Eduardo...Lalo and Lalito, they joked: ) And our experience at Cielo Mar was a great end for our trip from the ambiance, service, food presentation and overall hospitality. …
I would have to say that the staff here is second to none, I would put this staff up with any 5 star hotels in the world and I've been fortunate enough to stay in a few of them. The food at all the restaurants on site were also very good.
I went on a girls trip to Cabo, and stayed at the Viceroy. It was so magical. We arrived and got ourselves some delicious margaritas on the beach. Viceroy was a great place to stay, great location super close to the town of San Jose, a quick ride from the airport, and about 15 minutes from Cabo!
If you love modern aesthetics- this hotel for sure has it. I have visited many times & loved the architecture so much so, that I wanted to celebrate my wedding here this year. Unfortunately after 3 months, 68 emails back and forth, purchasing a gown based off of having it at this venue-it shockingly all fell through. After offering to fly down to Mexico to finish up the plans in person- (as emailing/communication was taking too long). We were quoted a price to come stay. The price we were quoted was given to us not just once, but twice. We thought it was a great deal and were excited to (finally) solidify the plans- we booked our flight & were ready to go. The reservation department emailed us a day or two prior to our departure for Mexico- letting us know the quote for our stay. To our surprise, the price was completely different from the one we were given by the event coordinator. When we brought this up- no one took accountability whatsoever. No one even apologized- until we told them we were reconsidering things. We were simply told that the price we were quoted twice was wrong. We basically felt if there’s discrepancies with pricing before we even arrive to sign the wedding contract - then it’s probably not a good sign for what may come (only it would be a pricing mistake for 80+ people). We also were simply rubbed the wrong way by the whole thing. When you’re planning your wedding day- you want to feel you are in capable, sincere hands. The last thing one wants to feel is the slightest bit uncomfortable. We felt there was a real lack of customer service which was surprising considering we were trying to come there to sign off on a wedding. The communications ended with us emailing- “we have to re-evaluate doing anything at the Viceroy at this time” And the last email from the hotel/event coordinator stated “we will cancel your Monday appointments”. The real kicker is no one has followed up with us since then at all. Great hotel for a short stay & modern aesthetic views. Would not recommend for an event of any kind and especially not a wedding. I wasted months of planning- with nothing to show for it but disappointment. ***Due to the response from the hotel marketing manager to this review** I felt inclined to respond by letting you know that your reaction and response to this review is again unexpected and a perfect example of the attitude reflected by those in charge at this hotel- which was what ultimately led to my wedding not being able to take place here. In customer service- being considerate, kind and taking accountability should be the top priority. To try and place blame on the bride to be and speak as if I am somehow making all of this up further proves my concerns. I do not enjoy writing reviews like this, but being that I was so invested in having one of the biggest days of my life take place here- I felt inclined to share my experience as it is honest, useful feedback. Had everything gone as planned- I would have had my wedding here- there is a reason why it all fell through- and rest assured it is not because of me. In response to the communications between my fiancé and I and the viceroy-I would be more than happy to send over all the emails if you would like to review them firsthand- that way there is no confusion on how this was handled.…
I've been in Vireroy Los Cabos for a week in January this year. I am Brazilian and I was travelling with my american partner. Everyhting was very realxing, the room, the restaurant, the beach, the spa. An special call to Rufina that made my spa sessions much more cool and Norma that has some angel hands to give a massage. Diana made my visit to the beach much cooler with the conversations and kindness (and pina colada for sure). The lat not least important Rafael at the reception that helped me late at night with a lighter and soe plug to my computer. Very gentle and loving guy too. For sure, was the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life and I hope I get the chance to visit again someday. Thank you Viceroy!
