This was our third stay at Sand Pebbles. So no guessing - we love the place. Being 'out of season' it was quiet. Ian and his staff did not let the standards slip. The room was clean, well heated and bed really comfortable. Despite being quiet the full menu was available in the restaurant, well cooked and presented. Thank you...

We stayed here for a single night. The area and the dog were really nice. The room was very small but clean and for a night ok. The owner was friendly but a little bit desinteressted. The breakfast was ok, but not more.

We had the family suite which was great for us - no view as it is at the back but we benefitted from the patio area and being able to come and go through the patio door . The décor was a little dated but the rooms were clean - the cleaning ladies were very friendly and helpful always willing...

We spent two nights at Sand Pebbles and loved it. The whole place had such a homely, relaxed feel about it. The food was lovely, the meat coming from the owners farm, fish was locally caught and the desserts made by a lady in the village. A rare treat. It was great to be able to walk to the coast...

On arriving at the hotel we noticed the carpets were filthy, not recent dirt but years of grime. On entering the bedroom it all looked ok, a bit dated but ok. On closer inspection we noticed the valance sheet was extremely grubby with other people's hair, blood, dog hair and God knows what else on it. This was changed immediately...

Hopefully other guests will see that this review is absolute nonsense, which is quite clear if you read the other reviews of the Hotel. An item was brought down to us with 1 hair on it, no blood or other mess just one hair. This was replaced immediately upon request. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay...

Stayed here over August Bank Holiday as a party of 2 adults and 1 child and overall we had a very nice break. Sand Pebbles is an old fashioned Hotel/B&B situated in the heart of Hope Cove no more than a 5 minute downhill walk from the beach, pub and harbour area. It has a bar and resteraunt, a lounge...

My friend and I drove down from London recently and stayed at Sand Pebbles while visiting Hope Cove and Salcombe area. This is a hidden gem - extremely quiet and peaceful, with considerate and attentive staff. I really appreciated the Veggie option for the English Breakfast too! Be sure to make the short walk to the cove and visit a...

Spent 3 nights here amazing views that's Hope Cove for you. Would like to give this hotel a better rating although it's good value @ £85 a night our room was spotless and fairly newly decorated nice white linen but the mattress had sort of collapsed and was very lumpy and you do need a good nights sleep. The toilet...

We arrived on out motorbikes, the car park was full and is on a bit of a slope. One of the staff moved their car so we would have a decent place to park which was very welcome. The soom was clean and tidy and we were able to get wi-fi. We didn't eat there in the evening as we...
