The caravan was clean, but most of the furniture and appliances needed replacing. The sofa was horribly uncomfortable. It was very hot, but if we tried to sleep with the windows open we were kept awake all night, every night, by people shouting and dogs barking. The clubhouse was a nice looking place, could tell they had recently refurbished it....

Thanks for taking the time to share your holiday experience via TripAdvisor. It's really disappointing to learn that your holiday really wasn't up to our usual high standards :-( I'll be sure to share your comments with the team on park to ensure we get the chance to fix it for next time and future guests. Arrived at Coopers Beach at the start of December (park is open all year). The park is generally clean, however is showing its age. The park is quite big, so it would have been nice to see signs around to assist with navigating around, or even some markings on the road. There are a number of speed bumps throughout the...

Delayed review but stayed here for 3 weeks in September as a base for Essex. Booking with the staff at site was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived late and was told to phone a number stuck on the door but no answer, eventually a member of staff passed us and told us to go to the bar to be...

Whilst we're glad to read that you would return to Coopers Beach and that you found the staff to be helpful, it's really disappointing that we didn't get all aspects right. Your feedback is very helpful to us and we have shared your concerns with the team on park....

This 5 star review is for the staff at the site and for the beautiful Mersea Island. The staff were all kind, friendly and helpful and at times went beyond the call of duty. Out caravan was bronze standard - cheap and cheerful. Fine for us. I happily moved the strewn fag ends at the front of the caravan but...

I was advised that Coopers Beach would allow non residents to use their pool for a charge. I arrived with the family to enquire. Waited a while to be served, one member of staff was making small talk with presumably a guest and another was busy at the counter. No one acknowledged me. Eventually I was seen, but cut off...

Just returned from a three-night mini-break at Coopers Beach. The location is idyllic, quiet and well off the beaten track. The newly-refurbished entertainments complex offers a comfortable outside terrace with lovely views across the water, where you can sit out and enjoy a drink or food on a nice day. Our caravan was a 'Silver Plus' but we were a...

So... I booked this based on the entertainment that was advertised and provided for children.... at the time of booking, I wasn't informed at all that entertainment would be limited due to being off peak. We arrived at reception to a 'forced' welcome. Given the keys along with our entertainment passes and was on our way. The lodge itself was...

Just came back from a weekend here and had a lovely family time. Stayed in a bronze caravan which was older but clean and tidy as well as bigger than I expected. Site was very clean. The club house was very good as was the food. We did have to wait but the children were with the entertainment which they...
