The Hotel Casa Grande is a centrally located, classic hotel. The rooms are large, well appointed, and beds are comfortable. Nespresso machine in the room sure doesn't hurt! Very good water pressure in the shower, and internet wifi was good. In house restaurant was also VERY good. I highly recommend this hotel if you have to stay in Morelia.

Safe, quiet, luxurious hotel with great service, and attention to detail. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone contemplating at trip to Morelia. Also recommend guided tour through nearby craft villages (arranged through the hotel).

This place is one of a kind and priced right. For me this is what I view as an authentic experience in the heart of a beautiful and not to be missed city. The architecture and service are top notch. You cannot beat the view from the rooftop and the overall charm factor is a 10. Thank you for the...

Absolutely love this place. The staff is amazing. The rooms are beyond belief - tall ceilings, huge entertainment center (although I was so busy I never turned it on). Amazing bathroom. Two queen beds. Nespresso machine. Expedia said this has a spa, and it doesn't. Great front patio restaurant that I frequented in the morning and at night. When I...

Perfectly located overlooking the magnificent cathedral in this beautiful city frequently overlooked by US tourists, our three night stay was just perfect, with one caveat, choose you room carefully. Although they are all handsomely appointed, the first one we were assigned was way too dark, especially to read in bed, and almost no natural night. As soon as i lodged...

We stayed here one night on a quick trip to Morelia and five stars for the customer service provided to us by the staff. Everybody made an effort to speak English (as we are non Spanish speakers) and guided us through the city attractions. Be sure to get a walking map of Morelia. We walked to all the attractions. The master suites are smaller than the junior suites, we had 3 master suites, one had good size but the other two were very small. The restaurant is the best in Morelia even though the service is not as good. The rooms that have windows to the street are very noisy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms have...

Some people, gringos and Mexicans alike told us that Morelia was somewhat dangerous but we went anyway. As a World Heritage City we found that staying in the center (quite a large area) was safe, beautiful and interesting. The wonderful updated architecture of the hotel matched the colonial city beautifully. All rooms are very well appointed and quiet. If we...

Lots of storage, air-conditioning, king bed, Nespresso coffee maker, TV, music player, bathrobes, high ceilings, writing desk, free high speed Wi-Fi and breakfast included. Room was an interior one facing the...
