We were looking for a small, cozzy hotel near dowtown...we certanly found it..!! Casa Madero is only a ten minutes walk from downtown Morelia. The Mercado San Juan is very close too and all downtown amenities. Most of the rooms, 14 in total, are arrangeded around a patio. If you look for more privacy there is rooms on the second...

The hotel and the rooms are very nice, but not confortable, cozy, functional or inviting. The rooms are small, no closet space, very dark with not enough light to read, warm and AC did a terrible noise. (Photo with maximum light) There is a karaoke bar in front and it's so loud that you can hear it all night. The...

We went there looking for a nice terrace to sit outside for a pre lunch drink and possibly stay on for lunch. We found the hotel a very nice European style terrace, sourrounded by plants on a sunny afternoon. We then went quite a while deciding NOT to have a glass of rose or white wine as after discussing the...

Very nice rooms, and overall decoration. Pleasantly surprised with service and overall finish. We visited for a weekend and we are very happy to have stayed. I liked that it is close by to the nice tourist area, but far enough to be relaxed. A must when traveling to morelia.

This hotel is small and very nice, rooms are very nice. Bed linens are amazing. The only thing that I was annoyed was the ON blue light of te A/C that illuminated all the room and bothered me all night. Other than that I liked very much staying at this hotel. Restaurant is excellent.

Architecturally beautiful conversion of a colonial home. However the room was dark, I couldn't see to put on my makeup (no makeup mirror) and no hair dryer! Not my idea of a top hotel which is how they position themselves. Staff bumbles around and doesn't seem to have much training.

Our stay began on a sour note when we asked for more blankets and were denied. The so-called Junior Suite was actually smaller than your average motel room -- just room enough for the queen size bed. In the lobby and restaurant and common areas, they played the same drummed in music over and over for our entire five night...

The hotel is a little gem and you will not be disappointed especially if traveling with your couple. I had my family with me and they enjoyed the peaceful gardens and serenity of the ambience. I plan to go back sometime soon.

The hotel by itself is wonderful, they gave us the greatest service. But there was a downside, they recommended us a tour around the city, this tour was just the worst tour ever, a grumpy old man who wanted to go to sleep and didn't take us to even the half of the places that were supposed to be included...

We liked the hotel which was clean, charming and modern, but it does not have a restaurant nor kitchen, nor breakfast. It is on the "outskirts" of downtown. We were saved by a wonderful hotspot bar around the corner, in which we ended up in every night. Location is important as it is the first place in Mexico where we...
