This hotel is located in one of the best areas of the Centro Historico, close to the Tarascas, and many of the exciting new restaurants and bars (mezcalerias) in Morelia. I used to live right near there and it is way more interesting now! Though it lacks some of the character you might find at other Morelia hotels, Hotel Mijashe...

Super friendly and attentive staff who are truly interested in the comfort and safety of their guests, excellent "full" breakfast included, the setting of an old Mexican "family" mansion that has been completely updated, "super" clean rooms and public areas, conveniently close to the Zócalo and downtown, but far enough away to afford peace and quiet, all add up to...

I'm glad I stayed at the Mansion Mijashe. It isn't the fanciest place around and lacks a little character, but the location is great. Even more important for me, was the fact the rooms are located off the street and are very quiet. It has a small inner courtyard. The complimentary breakfast was good and the server was very attentive.

We stayed about 12 days at this place. We always choose the same room, as we enjoy the location and the facility. It makes me feel I am at home! This is actually a home turned into a. Hotel boutique. I still do not know why it is a boutique, but that is how they advertise it. The price is...

We are frequent visitors to Morelia. Sometimes it's just an overnight stay, and sometimes it's for a week. I have used several of the large-chain hotels in town that are outside of the Historico Centro district, and they're ok for an overnight, but I prefer to stay near the Cathedral for longer stays. Our latest choice was this one, Mansion...

“We had the street facing room with the king-size bed and street noise was not a problem for us. Room had A/c but no heat, so Dec & Jan may be a bit cool in Morelia.”
