Can't say enough about the location and the hotel itself, old world-class charm to say the least. Beautiful, clean hotel. What they need - better wifi and to supply more clean water - they have many empty fountains. Views from the rooftop are amazing.

Location is perfect. Centered in the historic area it is within easy walking distance of everything. Its atmosphere takes you back in time. It is a restored nunnary complete with huge hand hewn doors & high beamed ceiling. But modern bath, good wifi signal from our room & helpful staff. We had a very comfortable king size bed & although...

This hotel could not have been in a better position, right across from the indoor market and a 2 minute stroll from the Cathedral. Set in a historic building with lots of attention to detail in the public areas. My room on the ground floor was enormous with two king size beds and lots of other chairs and furniture. The...

Amazing, perfect, location!! Across the street from the old Mercado (not much here, kinda a disappointment), 2 blocks from the Ponce museum and Casa de la Moneda/Museo de Zacatena, which has a great exhibit in the indigenous group, Huichol. Wonderful location in the middle of everything yet quiet. A block away from the Cathedral, right next door a great spot...

My stay was short but great. To start We arrived to the city at 7 am, and of course everybody is still closed in the city and downtown area. Still we decided to stop by the hotel to see if they could hold our luggage until check in time. The front counter rep was very courteous and went out of...

I paid about $50/night. Credit cards accepted. Big room, big bed, extremely clean. Wifi. Good shower. Very professional staff. No restaurant onsite, but plenty right across the street--Café Acropolis was my go-to. Great location: close to a Scotiabank, close to the cathedral, close to all the action. The doors to the rooms are very old and colonial-era, so it'll take...

This is a charming hotel almost cattycorner to the cathedral. Smack dab in the middle of the historic district that is registered in UNESCO's Human Heritage sites. The building dates from the 1600's. The decor is Mexican "rustic" with a character that fits the 1600's. Yes, there 's electricity and a modern private bath but there's no heat or air...

This is a sweet little hotel with a nice and accommodating staff. It may not be the best place for unseasoned travelers to Mexico who are looking for perfection, but the rooms are big with high ceilings and open out to the interior courtyard. My husband and I had the front room with a comfortable king size bed, while our...

Gotta tell you, all the previous reviews don't really get how great Reyna Soledad actually is. First of all, it is only one block from the Cathedral in the very center of Zacatecas's beautiful centro. Secondly, it is absolutely authentic and charming and while simple, is still replete with colonial charm, pure Mexican hospitality and historic detail. Our room on...

Rooms big and clean. Location great. Good value at $590pesos. Setting was very nice in old nunnery- very cool. Downsides were the rock hard ad small bed, and the older concierge could have been more polite (the younger guy was top notch). A solid option in Tecas.
