Detailed Reviews
Was fortunate enough to spend a week here, this being my first trip out of country in almost 2 years.
Have visited the Bay Bistro (attached to property) on numerous occasions over the years, but never actually stayed here. So glad we decided to spend some time here at this low key, adorable, quaint retreat. No noise from party goers, no loud music systems, and not hundreds of people crowding every nook and cranny. This was a big welcome change from the larger resorts.
We had a nice king private room, as close to the ocean you can possibly get without going in. The room also shares a patio with the room next door, and for most of the week, it was not occupied.
The staff here are very attentive and aim to please. Stacey went over and above, and shared her rescue kitty with us for the week.
If you're looking for something on the quieter side, where you can relax and not worry about getting beach chairs (there are more than enough for every guest), waiting in crowded lines (there are roughly 30 rooms), access to the best beach in the world, (it is just a couple dozen feet from the edge of the property), then yes, you too have found your new home away from home.
And if you see a cute little rescue kitty around, please give her a pet for me. She loves Friskies hard food.

Room Tip: They have free parking on site. The private king and queen suites are a complete steal for TCI.

We stayed on the second floor in a corner room named Ginger Lily, with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. It is convenient because it's on the beach and you have access to walk to other hotels or through them to get to the main road where Saltmills mall is located. Property itself is decent. Housekeeping for the most part is efficient (serviced every day).
Front desk was helpful with our requests, but seemed annoyed or irritated. They would call for our taxi, helped us with renting bikes for the day and answered any questions that we had. They offered fresh towels for the beach.
The maintenance staff was good and friendly (helpful with renting bikes and adjusting the seat) and put air in one of the floating devices we purchased.
The restaurant Byron Bay that is not affiliated with Sibonne Hotel was not good at all. The food was nasty. A few of the staff were highly rude. One lady server, gave me the dirtiest look when I was looking for the bathroom (mind you we just arrived from 2 flights and jetlagged). How am I supposed to know where the bathroom is even though there is a sign. The next morning we went there for breakfast and were told to sit down anywhere. So, we chose a table that wasn't clean with a view. I expected them to clean the table and didn't say anything, since the server told us to sit "anywhere". We waited over 5 minutes and another server came and said next time tell us to clean the table. I am on vacation!! A very well deserved vacation.
I left! There food is nasty anyway. It boggled my mind how many patrons ate there and I wondered how these people can have such a poor palate.
I work in the healthcare industry (worked through beginning of the pandemic) and deserve a vacation where I get exceptional or decent customer service. I was highly disappointed, because the customer service needs to be improved. The adage is "You get what you pay for..." and in this case it was true.
It wasn't worth it for me to save money, stay here at Sibonne Hotel, have access to the beach and get treated poorly or with an attitude.
I AM ON VACATION...PERIOD

This is a small boutique hotel as you will find out if you read the previous reviews. Our room 103 is very basic but very clean. When we looked at other prices on the Island. we found that what we paid for 5 days 6 nights would be the cost of one night at some of the other hotels. The food at the Bay Bistro from breakfast to dinner is excellent. The hotel's location on the beach is also better than the more expensive lodgings nearby. I am writing this review in the middle of our stay and expect nothing to change in the next few days. I would like to commend Stacie at the front desk for being so helpful to my wife and I. Even though she is very busy, she takes the time to help with questions, help us with reservations by making phone calls as well. I hope the management will pass on our appreciation for her great work in helping us. In summary, if you want a no-frills, friendly place, with a great location, this is for you. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

This hotel is in one of the best locations on Grace Bay. Literally, steps from my room, and I was on the beach. The attached restaurant was more than I expected with great service. I believe I even met the owner who addressed me personally at my table. The hotel is self-sufficient with free parking, an outdoor shower area, and beach lounge chairs with umbrellas. It is located away from the hustle & bustle of mega-resorts and crowded beachfront. The room was clean and adequately arranged for my arrival. The most appreciative feature for me was sitting out on my personal balcony and viewing the sunset.

It is a no frills hotel but steps away from the beautiful Grace Bay Beach. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas were available. I rented a bike and was in the "downtown area" in less than 10 minutes. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. I wasn't particularly impressed by the restaurant on site though. I loved Cocobistro Van near the Ritz. The room had a microwave and refrigerator so I was able to warm up tea and oatmeal for breakfast. Staff at the front desk seemed moody at first but after I introduced myself and broke the ice she was helpful and loosened up. It was a very quiet hotel and I rarely ran into guests. I went on a boat tour which left right outside the hotel so I didn't have to go far. I loved being steps away from the beach. Don't miss the sunsets. I would recommend getting a room oceanfront with a balcony. Don't forget the bug spray. The hotel offered COVID testing on site for the trip back home.

Sibonné, you were oh so magical! We loved our stay at your hotel. Don't expect luxury here but do expect a small authentic Turks and Caicos local vibe. Sibonné makes it possible for you to enjoy Turks and Caicos if you are on a budget. We stayed at the (only) apartment oceanfront at Sibonné. It was charming, large and classic. The ceiling was gorgeous and the kitchen was well stocked. THE views were to die for. We got 2 balconies, one was enclosed and it was a def. vibe. The enclosed balcony had a dining table which we used when we did cook. Literally steps away from Grace Bay Beach and about a 10-15 min. walk to the mainstream shopping and dining.
Unlike other reviewers stated, we received great customer service and the staff always answered any questions we had. The room attendants were attentive and left our area clean and pristine. We would highy recommend you come and visit Sibonné! Thank you for making this a great experience. We shall return!

Stayed at the Sibonne June-July 2023 with a friend for a relaxing trip. The hotel was fantastic. The staff, especially the housekeeping staff, could not do enough for us and they were unfailingly kind. Some of the rooms could use a bit of an update or lick of paint, but for a chilled, bohemian vibe, this place was perfect. The beach is clean and quiet for the most part, the hotel's water area is now outlined with buoys and line.
The Sibonne's strength is also its weakness, though - it is a bit of a walk (15 minutes) into the Grace Bay shopping area, but it's quiet and the restaurant isn't heaving because of it.
Thanks for a great time, all staff at the Sibonne!

i stayed here for a week in nov. I had a balcony room the first night . spacious and clean . greta views to the ocean .
I moved to the King beachfront room for the next 6 days. What an amazing deal . i had a private patio equipped with 2 chairs, umbrella, and 2 loungers. The patio has a hedge/fence around it so you are not interrupted .There is a queen room that shares the patio , but no one was there during my week.
this room is spacious, microwave, fridge.
Bed is very comfortable.
If you booked the queen room beside it , you would have two couples with their own private patio.
The boutique hotel has a small number of rooms , so you don't have the craziness of the all inclusives. They have enough umbrellas and loungers, on the beach, for all the guests.. so you don't have to get up before the sun to book a beach chair...so nice
I can't praise the hotel ,the rooms and the staff enough.
The manager , Stacey , couldn't do enough. She was amazing and she rescues animals. her "resident" cat rescue shared our patio for the week...it was a treat.
The hotel restaurant is the Bay Bistro. One of the best restaurants on the island. You have covered seating as well as dining under the stars and/or on the beach.
the food is top notch and the service is incredible.
There is a bar attached to the restaurant and hotel guests frequent the bar/lounge.
For the price of the room and my bill from the restaurant , it was a much cheaper alternative from the all inclusive on the island.
Again ....check this hotel out !

We stayed at the Sibonne the first week of March after making a late decision to go to T&C. We had seen the hotel on a previous trip to the on-premise restaurant (Bay Bistro) and knew the location. Its a no-frills hotel that could use a little updating, but its hard to beat the value when the glitzier hotels can be a few hundred dollars more expensive each night. The rooms where clean, bed comfortable, with water and coffee restocked each day. Our room (second floor) had a balcony overlooking a quaint courtyard and a partial ocean view. The staff was friendly and the Bay Bistro restaurant (separately managed) is one of the best on Grace Bay beach.
The beachfront at Sibonne is phenomenal with beautiful sunsets. Also the cruise and parasail vendors pick up right on the beach at the hotel. We took a wonderful sunset cruise with beach pick up/drop off right in front of hotel. The one downside is that there were limited chairs & umbrellas available and many guests would drop towels and personal items on them as early as 730 am. In contrast the bigger hotels, had dozens of lounges - all on top of each other
As I said. its hard to beat the value, but dont expect the frills of the bigger newer establishments.

First time visiting Grace Bay and Sibonne Hotel. Hotel little older and basic, but very clean and right on the beach.
Having a good restaurant, Bay Bistro, on site, is a big plus. People from other fancier resorts come here to eat breakfast and have dinner with sunset views.
We had a nice king corner room with a balcony on the second floor.
The only reason for not giving an excellent rating, is the leak we had in the shower, that should of been fixed before our arrival instead of after our departure.
However, I understand being a small hotel makes it hard to move people around, and still honor their room choice.

We were in the room on the beach with patio. Don’t know about value room
Sorry just saw this. We didn’t make any stops so I don’t know but it can’t hurt to ask
The quickest and easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel is to take a taxi. There will be many taxi vans meeting all incoming flights - the ride to the hotel is about 15 minutes at a cost of $28/$30 based upon 1 or 2 people travelling together. There usually is a dispatcher outside of the arrival building - tell him/her that you are going to Sibonne Beach Hotel and he/she will direct you to the appropriate taxi.
