Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. The small kitchen area was useful but there was no soap to wash dishes. The hotel staff said we should not drink the water but then wanted to charge $5 for one liter. There was a nearby 24 hour carry out with 1 gallon for $2 but we had to ask 6 people to learn about the carry out. Mr Grouper's food was great! But service only so-so and they rushed us out before we could finish our $200+ meal. Would eat here again but earlier in the day. Would stay at hotel again but bring own water and either plastic dishes or soap to wash before use. Parking was gated and monitored so felt safe.

Very happy with our stay here, The Suites at Mr. Grouper. At check-in, we were greeted with a nice cold Rum punch. The lady working the reception was very nice and helpful with any questions we had. When we first walked in the room you could smell how fresh and clean the place was. We stayed in room 201 on the second level for 7 days. The kitchen is supplied with only basic essentials which we were aware off so we brought stuff from home including a hot plate. Eating out can get pretty expensive in Turks so we cooked breakfast and lunch then went out to eat in the evenings. I included a picture of the $35 hot plate we got on amazon, very flat and light so easy to pack in your checked bag. The King Size bed was very comfortable. The Wifi is also very good in the room and on the roof top deck. We used the pool a few times with our inflatables we brought from home. There are several loungers for you to use and some sectional sofas. We went there there every night with a glass of wine. Before you arrive arrive they will send you the code for the gates, nice to have you car parked in a secured area. Every morning you'll see a guy sweeping and cleaning the parking lot, the whole place is very clean. We had a rental car for the week which you absolutely need if you gonna visit Turks and Caicos. Every morning we walked down Grace Bay Rd pass the Seven Star resort which was an easy 2km walk one way. If you walk straight out from Mr. Grouper down Princess Drive to the beach, it will take you 9 minutes to get there. The Fish Fry every Thursday is right in you own backyard, so if you plan to buy souvenirs or t-shirts, you'll get them at a much better price there then you would down at the Grace Bay area. Mr.Grouper also has a souvenir shop with better pricing then downtown. Next door is a gas station, it looks sketchy but it's not. There are some snacks you can get there and right next to it, is 2 small souvenir shops. Very friendly people work there.
There's a little bar in the back (patio balcony side) called Shots. Not sure what goes on there but the music is very loud and every time the door opens you'll hear the music and it goes all night (5 am) . I slept with earplugs a couple of times, so bring some with you.

We were very happy to spend the week at The Suites at Mr. Grouper which is indeed a boutique hotel. On an island where everyday expenses really add up, it was great to have a comfortable economical stay. The rooms are exactly as described and pictured on their website and kept very clean. We did rent a car from EZ Motors which is affiliated with Mr Grouper and had the best rates. Cars here are point a to b as there are many businesses who will pick you up or send a taxi. If you are a walker, it’s 8 minutes to the beach. You can also walk to the strip which is a very easy mile we walked daily to have breakfast. They offered room service every 3 days where they cleaned the room spotless. Very impressive. They do provide beach towels and will give you additional upon request. The room has all the essentials needed but without a cooktop or way to prepare a dinner which wasn’t a problem for us. If we wanted casual we went to Grace Gourmet and made a salad or purchased from the deli hot bar. Mr Grouper is on premises and we did eat there which was good as well. Additionally, I recommend walking to the end of the street to Bay Cafe for the view and breakfast, Shay Cafe, Sip and Serve and Cocovan for dinner. There is a fish fry in the parking lot next door which is a bit loud until 10pm on Thursdays but we enjoyed that as well and it’s a don’t miss. Not only would I stay here again but I would highly recommend to others.

New , clean , friendly staff in both suites and attached Resturant . Bright rooms with all new decor. Rooms were very nice , small kitchenette , with micro and some utensils. No plates or bowls , just forks knives spoons etc . Brand new safe in closet .

I'm happy to be amongst the first few to be a guest at Mr. Groupers Suites. The restaurant is already a big success and with the diligent and customer service orientated team run by Yadley Legagneur and her Husband there is no where to go but up. We arrived to smiling faces and welcome beverages. Everything was done to make our stay comfortable. The amenities in the rooms are all brand spanking new, I was also pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, the pictures don't do it justice. The location is top notch, close to all the popular hot spots. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. I would happily return and recommend it to others highly.

Very beautiful and elegant rooms. It is affordable luxury stay at its finest. I really enjoyed staying at The Suites at Mr Groupers. The check in process was easy with the friendly front desk agent. I enjoyed the local cuisine at the on-site restaurant that also caters to vegans, they specialise in local seafood.
There’s also a vehicle rental onsite as well with the best prices on Island, with friendly staff that makes my entire stay there an amazing experience. I highly recommend this location.

Stayed and held an event by the rooftop pool area. All I did was give the staff an idea of what I wanted and they went above and beyond the call of duty. True family friendly hotel, even provided beach toys for my kids, staff here thinks outside the box. The restaurant is a few steps away, we are definitely returning. The Suites at Mr Groupers is the place to stay in TCI.

This place is worth your consideration. The property has all the basics, food is right downstairs if you're not in the mood to go far. And if you are interested in other types of dining, you can literally walk to everything! Great price and great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very up to date and clean. The service was excellent and staff and Management were very friendly and helpful, specially Sabrina at the front desk. The hotel's location is very convenient. It's close to the Grace Bay beach, good restaurants and shops. Having a car rental office and one of the best island seafood restaurants (Mr Grouper) on site is definitely a bonus. Willy definitely rebook for our next trip to TCI and recommend to friends and family.

When booking this was one of the cheaper options…ITS PERFECT LOCATION. It’s walkable from the beach, we felt safe and very easy..not many turns. It’s right beside Mr Groupers restaurant which is a popular spot. Fish fry Thursday happens right beside it which is also a must do. The rooms were nice and modern. They don’t claim to have amenities however I did have the expectation there would be hand soap, shampoo, like a usual hotel and there wasn’t. But you can buy some at a shop. The front desk is its own separate small building. All staff were very nice and helpful. One even went above and beyond for us!
