Hotel is good but not the beach front, dirty, trash everywhere, nobody cleans, worst than Thailand: some foreigners say that Thai islands are dirty, but I think that they never visited Kohkong which is an open air dump... But I agree that not many tourists there, so maybe useless to clear :-) Some Thai know how to use a trash,...

Bungalows are quite basic, but have everything needed. Bed was comfortable with huge mosquito net. No closet or shelf where to put clothes and stuff ,no hooks or nails just one chair. But this is really not important as beach is so amazing - crystal clear water and so white sand. Peaceful and quiet, feels like being on lonely island....

Arriving by boat, you enter this perfect beach. Ma (hostess) welcoming you at the jetty. The cabins are simple, but suficcient. And right at the beach, which is just perfect. This might be as close to paradise as you'll ever come. It's a perfect hide-away where you can recharge. Bring books and lounge lazily in the hamocks, walk in coralwhite...

I don't know what to say -- this place is wonderful. Yes, accommodations on the one side are basic -- the other ones are more "upscale' but there is nothing upscale about this place. It is the perfect blend of deserted island beach with great sunsets, swimming, the sangria is excellent!, good vibe, people are really nice -- helpful, always...

Rooms arent expensively priced and I found the pricing and services well in range of expectations. Bungalows are basic and are designed for you to experience life in lonely beaches. There is no disturbance or distraction. Just relax, read books and lay back. Beach at resort was clean and water nearly transparent that you can drop a coin in water...

The Island is beautiful, there's no disputing that, but there is absolutely nothing to do except stay on the beach, swim, read and relax. Ironically, I was well aware of this and it was exactly why we chose to come here. The problem was that I got bitten to death by sandflies on the first day and had a really...

Yes indeed it looks a paradise, beach is beautiful and tranquillity ensured. However the bungalows were run down with a sort of mouldy smell. The main problem is sandflies on the beach and geckos in the room. We got two! We asked to get them out. After negotiations it was done! The overall manager, Mr. Samang, who speaks very good...

The place is at a fantastic location, beautiful beach, relaxed and calm environment, perfect for some time to escape the busy everyday life, as there is no masses, only just the very few other guests, no internet, not even mobile phones working. Cocktails on the menu were only available on the last day of our 5 days stay, were always...

Pro: empty beaches Cons: Overpriced transfer in a run down nutshell instead of the promised speed boat. Definitly not sea worthy (see pictures - don`t risk your life) Under average beach, covered in thrash (Koh Rong is much better!) Totally overpriced food and drinks (7USD Satae??, only one restaurant, no alternative) Very basic and rat infested bamboo shacks (starting at...

This is a belated posting as my family and I were the first paying guests to stay on the island just prior to last Christmas. Our experience has been reflected by other posters on here which is disappointing as we put down the issues we faced as teething problems. Yes it is a long way to get there but that...
