We had been recommended this pub and it didn't disappoint. Wonderful food- freshest fish I have eaten and sticky toffee pudding to die for! More expensive than we would normally pay but worth it for a great experience. Staff friendly and warm log fire on a very cold day.

The Gurnards Head is a wonderful pub with rooms. We have just returned from a Sunday sleep over deal which included lunch, dinner, rooom and cooked breakfast. The only extras being drinks. The key feature of this pub is the quality of its food and service. A must.

I was a little worried that I had built up the Gurnard's Head in my head, but the food on our second trip could not have been better. A wonderful crab macaroni (sounded a little odd but delicious) and calamari starters, followed by absolutely melt in the mouth pork belly. My husband reported that the Christmas porter was as good...

We visited the Gurnards after an amazing, sunny coastal walk from Zennor, everything was fantastic- as ever! The service was great, good wine list and the food was fantastic! The crab and macaroni starter was amazing as was the squid. We finished the lunch with some liquors in the bar, in front of the fire. Can't wait to go back!

This bright yellow Inn looks strange as you drive along this beautiful coast line. Plenty of parking outside and the bar area has tables that are dog friendly. The food was excellent. Starters all well thought out. The cauliflower fritters were particularly good. Mains excellent although the chef loves the London trend of cooking fish with bits of meat. Monkfish...

The Gurnards Head never fails to please ....after a long cliff walk along the stunning stretch of coast line there is always a warm welcome in this fantastic place. We were early and hadn't booked a table but it wasn't a problem as they fitted us in at a beautiful table for two near to the fire. The menu was...

We took advantage of the fantastic winter deal so feel like we've had a real bargain. Warm welcome great service and food to travel for. Simply perfect. Nice touch to offer smaller parcels of wine. Get a walk in before breakfast to appreciate fully.

I have been to the Gunnards Head 4/5 times both dinner and lunch and have never been disappointed. Our lunch on Wednesday was no exception - it surprised and delighted in equal measure. What lovely staff too!

Enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Gurnards Head, arriving on a quiet Sun in late November to a packed car park seemed a good indicator and we weren't disappointed. The food was really quite superb, the starters, roast beef and lamb, vegetarian options and desserts were all delicious. The wines in particular were very good, a really interesting selection and...
