We were lucky enough to spend three whole weeks at Casa Candiles. We were there from December 8th to 29th and we'd go back tomorrow if work didn't get in the way :) Roberto truly is the perfect host... Our room was fantastic! We woke up every morning to the sounds of the birds and the smell of freshly brewed...

When Roberto greeted us at the door of his beautiful Casa so graciously, as if we had been friends forever rather than new guests, we were comforted. He made us feel so welcome. When he led us into the cool interior of the Casa, tasefully decorated in soft hues and unique art, we sighed in relief. It was going to...

I just returned from my 3rd visit to Casa Candiles. It's always a surprise when I arrive as Roberto is always working on some new project to make the Casa better. This trip I was greetecd with a new, softer color scheme on the outside of the house. Very vivid hues of orange, making the inn even more inviting. The...

Casa Candiles was our Perfect Honeymoon! I wanted an intimately peaceful and beautiful place to stay for our honeymoon. Casa Candiles turned out to be far beyond our expectations. Situated on a quiet street off the main avenue through Ixtapa, this boutique bed and breakfast is an island of sumptuous relaxation. We were wowed when we first walked into the...

Roberto and Miguel make sure that all your desires were met. This is a place to stay if you want a tranquil setting with the most beautiful swimming pool that we've ever seen in Mexico. It is a walk down a residential street to get to "hotel row" and the beach, but you almost never want to leave the B&B...

My first full two week vacation in 12 years and having never been to Mexico we found the perfect place to relax and enjoy and unwind from the rest of life. Roberto and Staff provided a clean safe warm and friendly place to enjoy all the area has to offer. The breakfasts were amazing and so filling we could just...

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week vacation at Casa Candiles in Ixtapa, Mexico. How many superlatives can one add to this fantastic place. The casa itself is a tropical retreat - airy, spacious, incredibly clean and no detail is left unattended from the spectacular chadeliers, tapestries and Mexican artifacts. Our room was spacious with a...

We have recently returned from our third visit in three years to Casa Candiles. Simply put, we keep returning because we love it there. It now feels like going back to our own paradise away from home. Roberto and Miguel greet us like old friends and the house, beautiful as ever, feels comfortable. For those who are reading this review...

Our Host, Bob, was as hospitable as ever, and every time we go back we marvel and the lovely new touches he has added to this already beautiful home . It is a peaceful oasis 10 min walk from the beach that oozes comfort, style and relaxation. Bob's home made ice cream and margaritas are the best happy hour in...

I was leary of any establishment that had an unblemished 5 star rating from all reviewers and had to check it out myself. It is the real thing. The grounds are impeccable, the inn is warmly inviting, crisp, clean and delightfully appointed. The bedrooms are roomy, mattresses comfortable and the decorating details are a constant wonder. Innkeeper Bob and his...
