We stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2016 as 2 adults, a toddler and 3 dogs in a tent. The facilities are simple but clean and well maintained. The pitches are a good size and level. The ground is stony under the grass so pick your pegs and mallets with care. There is a nearby hardware store for simple...

We have visited Port William lots of times but had never camped here. The site excellent, the wardens are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, well maintained, and for a little site they think of everything you might need during your stay. The site is the quietest we have been on and our fellow campers...

Nice campsite with superb views. The facilities are basic but well maintained and clean. The site has only around 30 pitches most with electric and was quiet when we were there. The pitches are flat but very stony, good pegs are required. Port William is quiet and a bit remote, It has a small shop which is well stocked, a...

Decided on a last minute get away before school's went back and had 3 nights in a tent at King's Green. It is a beautiful, well kept site. Toilet facilities were probably the cleanest on any site we've visited...spotless. Waking up to the views each morning is delightful and the eggs a bonus. We loved the quietness of the site...

Its set along the coastal line which is lovely for views and a nice breeze to keep the flies away. We camped in a tent, so did not use the electric facilities available. It was nice and quiet. Just what we wanted. And a stones throw away from the village centre where you can have a nice meal at the...

Beautifull place to camp, people are really helpfull and freindly. Our tent got damaged becasue of the stong winds but did not put us off staying and people on hand to help fix it. Peacefull and quiet, small park for the kids to play next to site.

Hello, thank you for the review, we are glad that the unseasonal weather didn't dampen your spirits too much, the best attitude to have by a mile. I did personally feel terrible to see you in the rain and wanted to ask if you wanted to come to our house for a warm up and cup of tea! But there...

Our special customers! Thank you for your kind review and we are very pleased that you saw the Machars at it's best, in the sun! Earlier in the year we designed and built a new website in order to show potential customers, at a distance, what the area has to offer. We incorporated a state of the art admin system...

Great friendly staff, clean facilities BUT only 2 sinks and showers and 1 washing up sink meant queueing. If you don't mind lorries or tractors rolling regularly through from 6.30am (site is next to the main road through the village) then this is the site for you and there were mozzies. Wifi wasnt working while we were there.

Hello, thank you for the succinct review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay but for the benefit of future guests we feel that we must answer your review, at length, as it is a tad misleading and most probably influenced by your frame of mind at the time, not by the village, road or by our...

This is one of the best sites we've stayed on in the ten years we have been caravanning. The winning factors were: Friendly wardens who made us feel so welcome with time for a chat and a smile for all the guests. Basic but spotless facilities, warm toilets and shower rooms with plenty of hot water. A good laundry room with washer...
