Mount Druid is a natural haven in the heartland of Ireland. I was lucky enough to marry the beautiful Thalia there on the 24th of September and our wedding day meet and indeed exceeded our expectations. It was important to both of us that our wedding setting was natural, beautiful, and could facilitate our shared humanist worldview. We had viewed...

My husband and I got married at the end of May this year; Mount Druid was our beautiful venue. We first stayed there a few years back, just for the fun of spending a couple of days in a yurt! We loved the chilled vibe, the off-beat offering, the beautiful setting, and the relaxed approach from all of the staff....

We got married at this venue recently. It was incredible, from the moment we booked it up until the minute we left we have nothing but high praise for Mount Druid and all its staff. We had close to 140 guests who loved every bit of the venue, from the tin chapel to boat house and the barn. Everyone raved...

My husband and I had our wedding in Mount Druid in July 2016. We had approximately 180 guests attend, most of whom stayed in the on-site accommodation. We ourselves stayed in the new Honeymoon yurt, which is near the Tin Chapel and we loved every moment of it. Mount Druid and all of its staff went above and beyond to...

Stayed here for a wedding for 2 nights. Set in lovely grounds and we enjoyed mooching around. We stayed in a tin cabin which was quaint. We found the tin cabin spacious. Staff lit woodburner every evening which was a cosy touch. All staff we met were very friendly. The venue was excellent and the wedding was beautiful. On evening...

I stayed here for 3 nights at a wedding. The grounds are quite large - over 100 acres! The setting for a wedding was amazing and everyone had a wonderful time. We stayed in a yurt which was nice and spacious. A fire was lit every night which ensured the room was nice and warm when you came back to...

Stayed here for a wedding on 8th/9th of July 2016. We had booked a stone house for 4. The house itself was basic (no electricity) but was nice and the bathroom facilities were outhouse style, again basic but nice - no complaints about those. The grounds were also lovely and there was a cute dog running round - they're the...

I was here for a friends wedding. The wedding itself was beautiful you could tell the bride and groom had put a lot of work into the wedding. However my issue lies with the establishment itself. Never in my life have I met such rude and ignorant people. This is supposed to be a family run business, well the whole...
