Restaurant - staff and food brilliant. We need gluten free food for members of the family who are Coeliac, Menu offered many options; the staff had excellent knowledge of our needs with the food being of a very high standard. Well done to the chef and all of your staff.

Stayed self-catering in a marvellous property in Whitbarrow Village, which is a modern resort within 10 miles of Penrith. One-bedroomed apartment had everything we needed. Draught beer in the bar; restaurant onsite if we took a break from cooking / driving. Enjoyed the onsite swimming pool, steam room, and Jacuzzi, especially after a long day driving and walking in the...

What an amazing place to visit. Cumbria itself is absolutely stunning, but to come back to the holiday house we had was fantastic. We took four children ranging from 8-12 away for a week break and wasn't disappointed. The house and facilities within the house were top notch, enough space and high quality. The site was quiet and really beautifully...

Once again we were not disappointed with our stay at Whitbarrow. Having not been there for a few year, we noticed that the resort was looking as good as every: with notable improvements. We stayed in a recently refurbished lodge which was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Good leisure facilities including a small but reasonably equipped gym. We have already...

Loved staying here, the kids had freedom to roam, swim in the pool and see some ducklings. Nicely situated for visiting parts of the Lake District and has everything you need for a perfect holiday. Would definitely recommend.

I had little hopes for our stay as we do not walk and our children love there technical gadgets. The thought of living without wifi for a week with two iPad addicted children was a scary thought, but they actually went outside made friends with other children and had fun so much so that they have asked if they can...

Visited here in Easter holidays, three adults one toddler. Lots to do in the area, accommodation (Kirkstone cottage) very comfortable and fun upside down living set up. Weird smell around site some days but wouldn't put us off coming back, although might be worse in heat of summer. Facilities on site really good (gym, pool, playground, crazy golf), staff very...
