The site is excellent, the lodges are well equipped and designed. The breakfasts were especially good value and the staff in general were welcoming and friendly. a car is necessary but the road system in the north part of the lakes makes visits to Keswick, Penrith and Grasmere easy.

We have been here more than 10 times; sometimes for a week, and also for short 3 or 4 night breaks. We come in every season, from warm summer days through to snow which transforms the landscape in winter.

An ideal location for a short break at this time of year. The facilities on the Site are good although we do not use the Leisure areas therefore cannot comment on those. The location gives easy access to the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales.
