Lovely Mexican style old hotel on the banks of Mulege overlooking the town. The rooms are clean and a little dark because it gets quite hot in the summer, so lots of vegetation in and around the hotel to keep it cool. There is a terrace on the top floor available - great place for a beer at the end...

Not the most beautiful or inspiring of hotels, but perfectly adequate for an overnight. Good central location in town (not that there is much in Mulege) and very cheap. There was parking for the car and it was close to the museum and a good restaurant. Mulege itself was a bit disappointing - perhaps it was better before the hurricane...

Thank Paul B

“Great restaurant across the street - "El Palaces" or something close to that - great grocery store up the street a bit - look for the orange building - as you walk down the hill from the hotel, turn left. If you turn right and go up the hill, turn right again and you will get to the ancient (museum now) prison.”
