This place is beautiful on pictures. The owner (American lady) has a really bad attitud, the bathroom / toilet was dirty (not dust), the owner asked us to flush the toilet after being used 3 or 4 times. We made reservation to stay 2 weeks, paid 1-week in advance and the 2nd when we arrived. It was so uncomfortable that...

We stayed in many places in Baja and this was one of the best. The Inn is situated at the top of a hill, giving wonderful views over the village and the sea. Our room was surprisingly large, more like a suite (ask for the room at the far end). This is a great village/beach for a 4-5 day visit...

Exhausted from our travels we arrived at this quaint Hill Top Villa. The owner was friendly and gracious making us feel comfortable and relaxed. We settled into our charming tastefully decorated room with a marvelous view. We enjoyed a relaxing massage just one of the special amenities offered at the B&B. A very nice B&B.

When we got there the owner was not there and her friend let us in but was not certain which room was ours. ( It is very difficult to find with no signs) When the owner did arrive she had...

Management response:

To my disappointed guests. First of all Villa Claire has one of the largest signs on our Inn and can be seen from all over town. Directions are provided on my web site. I email to guests who ask for directions. Time of arrival is important to me, as I am usually the only person here. When my guests arrived...

Vila Claire is an awesome spot in the beautiful, quaint town of Mulege. Sits on top of a hill, but within easy walking distance of great restaurants and fantastic bars with wonderful margaritas. The rooms were huge. clean, exquisitely decorated with lots of privacy and a hot tub to sit and watch the stars.
