My boyfriend (37) and me (28) stayed at the Riu Jalisco from 14th – 28th August. This was our first long-haul holiday and our first time all inclusive. Our room was on the 6th floor and had views of the ocean, fountain and gardens. I was expecting a bit more of a luxurious room to be honest but it was...

We are fairly seasoned travellers – have done 5 All Inclusive vacations and several “ala carte vacations around the Caribbean. No matter where you go or what happens, the vacation will be what you make it! This was our first time in Mexico. We stayed at the Riu Jalisco from August 18 to 25th. It was a very interesting trip...

First the good stuff: The Brazilian restaurant was very good, lots of meats to try and the flaming show at the end was nice. The Japanese restaurant was average, more like a Japanese buffet than a sit down restaurant. The buffets were above average for an All Inclusive. The weather was great, it rained a few times but it really...

We flew back from Riu Jalisco today and instead of repeating what everyone else is saying, I'll sum up the other points that I found would've been much more usefull had I known about them in advance.... First of all-the property is huge. The rooms are spacious, and a little air freshner will help with any smells you might have....

The hotel is just gourgeous and the service is impecable. The grounds were well kept and the rooms were very clean. The only downside that my family and I (my husband and two college students)experienced was the variety of the food. The restaurants seemed repetative and the selection was limited. We have travelled to other all inclusives and found the...

After reading several reviews for the Riu Jalisco (some were bad and some were good), we decided to stay there on our vacation to Puerto Vallarta. We spent 7 nights there in late July. I will say that we will most likely never stay at another Riu again. From the exterior the hotel looks very nice, the landscaping, etc. However,...

Since it was my 1st holiday anywhere tropical my 1st night was amazing. Although when we arrived someone was in our room so they double booked it oh well no harm no foul. That didn't ruin my mood. The rooms were immaculate considering I've stayed at hotels (not 4 or 5 star though). Free liquor bar in the room! A...
