I took a vacation in Paradise Village in Oct 2021 with my parents, with the All – Inclusive option. First the things that we liked: the hotel installations are nice, we enjoyed very much the relaxing pool and it’s great they have a different pool for the children, music, etc. The beach is taken care of, it’s cleaned often and is nice. There’s enough space outdoors to keep your distance from other customers. The food is also good, everything’s tasty in the buffet and the snacks Now what we didn’t like and the reasons I will not go back to this hotel and I have told my friends not to choose it: the all inclusive option is weird, you need to give your room number and sign a check every time you order a single thing! It’s just a pain and a waste of time. Then why get an All inclusive bracelet in the first place? Other hotels don’t even require a bracelet anymore. The reason I choose an all inclusive option is to forget about having to ask for the bill, sign the bill, get a waiter to take my order,… and the Paradise village defeats the purpose. Also you’re only able to order drinks while seating in a table at the bar/restaurant, or in the chairs near the pool, you cannot walk up to the bartender to request a drink, so it really takes ages while the waiter shows up, you need to make sure you catch him so he takes your order, and order a few extra in case they don’t show up again. Because of covid, they will only serve you in disposable cups which makes an unbelievable amount of unnecessary trash and it’s a pity, I had taken my refillable mugs and was not able to use them. Another thing very upsetting is that we were sitting at one of the Palapa sitting areas in front of the beach and an employee of the hotel came later to tell us to go away because that area was reserved. This is really outrageous, I was never advised upon arrival that there are reserved areas at the hotel beach, nor I saw any information signs about it. It just made us very uncomfortable. In any hotel, whoever arrives first gets to take the palapas, no silly reservations required. For the breakfast and dinner buffets they give you another bracelet, in addition to the all-inclusive one you get at arrival. The rooms are quite old and in need of renewal, also not very clean, there was garbage left by previous customers in one of the drawers. We got rooms very far away from the pool area which is difficult for older people to walk long distances. I have been in many other all inclusive hotels and this is by far the poorest option I’ve seen. When you arrive, the check in process takes about half an hour. One more thing that I dislike: you’re forced to provide a deposit of $1500 pesos per each room upon check in. The use of the gym is not included, it is extra $ if you want to use it.

Don’t stay here! We had $100 stolen from our room by housekeeping, our driver that the concierge set up never showed up at the airport to get us and the guy (Carlos) told the staff he did pick us up on top of it all…when we told the concierge what happened…he later confessed that he lied about it. They tried to charge-us for towel and room keys that they never said were needing to be turned back in and when we didn’t want to go to the timeshare presentation they pressure you into when you show up at check in, we got booked for a show that was not even close to the hotel…they simply lost interest in us as a consumer. It’s a scammy place. Too bad because we did meet some great staff during certain points but overall the vibe is no bueno. We travel a lot and we will never be back to this hotel… we come to Puerto Villarta a lot for the professional sports tournaments we are a part of …We will not recommend to any of our friends who visit this area regularly. This place is trying to act like they are a classy joint but really it’s a cheesy place that mainly caters to locals with muddy beaches trying to upsell you. Ugh.

Dear Guest, Your comments are very important since with them we can establish action plans that will allow us to improve the experience of the people who visit us. We would like to inform you that Paradise Village as well many hotels around the globe, have facilities or amenities to protect you and the safety deposit box is one of them. In reference of the loss money report that we received from your room, we inform you that we are doing the investigation and as soon as we have the results we will send it to the email you left as a contact. In reference to your comments about transportation, when we received your report, we spoke with the company that offered you the transportation service, and they agreed as compensation for you (for not being on time for your arrival), a 50% discount for your transfer to the airport. Regarding the towel cards and room keys, upon arrival you are informed that they must be returned, and we asked you for a signature as a sign that you are aware of the measure. On the other hand, in the Concierge Department we keep a record to follow up on cases of loss, to try to offer you a solution prior to your departure. Checking our files, we did not receive any reports from you about it. Reviewing your comment about the show that you booked, we would like to inform you that this tour departs from nuevo vallarta and from puerto vallarta, at the time the reservation was made there was no availability to board the boat from nuevo vallarta, that is why you were confirmed with departure from the maritimal terminal, located 20 minutes away from the Hotel. We regret that we have not been able to exceed your expectations during your recent stay, and we are committed to reviewing your comments to reinforce the communication of the departments that have direct contact with the public. Please in case that you need any assistance you can contact us by email: concierge@paradisevillagegroup.com. Regards, Lorena Valera Quality & Service Manager

We had a great time at the newly opened Copan sky bar! The service was great. My wife had a cucumber martini to die for! The view at sunset is mesmerizing. Plus they have a great service menu. The manager was very attentive in assuring our needs were met!
