The large Hotel building is managed by the most welcoming family I know for decades. The team will go a long way to make you feel welcome, the hotel, the food, the room comforts are very high and exquisite, the lounges, terraces are an interesting retreat to some people who spend weeks there to write, paint or just for meet... We stayed in this hotel in September with our three kids. The hotel is lovely and with a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains. The area around the hotel is very interesting with easy access to archeological and geological sites. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food is just fabulous. Even the house wine is really good. The hotel... More

We stayed here in september, with sunny days and cool evenings. The hotel is comfortable and authentic and the room spacious and clean. The place is an ideal basis for hikes in the 'outback' of Sardinia. It also has a pretty good restaurant. I would stay here again, without a doubt.

Comfortable hotel in a great location if you want to trek the canyon. Clarifying the name of the hotel would however be a bonus as it seems to have been recently changed to Hotel Silana. Good food and would recommend breakfast. Friendly staff if a bit stretched at times.

We relied on Googlemaps and of course the address was the registered business address not the actual Hotel so yes we got lost. However the locals we pounced upon just said "go up". So we did. The roads are beautiful - new, wide however snake bends all the way motorcycles whipping passed. You get to a stop sign which you... More

We stopped for lunch (which was fantastic good quality traditional Sardinian) and decided to stay so that we could eat dinner here too (we weren't disappointed). The hotel has a real mountain guest house feeling and has fantastic views. It's comfortable and the hosts are very nice and knowledgeable about the local walks. Don't miss the amazing Gorropu Gorge -... More

I've been going to this restaurant for the past 5 years and the service, the quality of the food and everything's always been flawless. I've had christmas meals, first communions, baptism etc. The Hotel/Restaurant is near the way to Gorroppu Canyon. I'm really looking forward to go there again!

Isolated, but stunning views of the Genargentu mountains. This is a great place to rest before tackling the canyon below. We were 5, 2 kids. We had dinner in their restaurant which I would give a favorable review also...quiet, very helpful staff. More than helpful! They even will pack you a lunch for the trail. All the staff goes out... This hotel has a wonderful location along one of the most beautiful roads of Sardeigna. You can walk down to the river and gulch. Or go by car to one of the beaches in 45 minutes. The people are very nice and helpfull and the food is very good, with all local ingredients.
