The hotel has a remarkable infrastructure for providing food, with good flavor, variety and quality, and a great staff that keep the restaurant clean and going like a clockwork. The cleanness of all the hotel is also remarkable. The rooms are comfortable and there are amusing activities for little kids. The customer service, though, is really poor, and any simple...

Decameron Pananca and Decameron Las Heliconias are two beautiful Hotels located in El Eje Cafetero. They are very special places where tourist can have a spiritual connection to nature and animals. The facilities are WONDERFUL, the service is IMPECABLE, simple, professional and very charming. It is like being in heaving.

We stayed at Decameron for 4 nights in October with a large group of family and friends. This hotel is located in the coffee region of Armenia, Colombia. It's an all inclusive property. The food is of high quality and of a great variety. There's always food available at different hours and locations in the property. There's many activities for...

A good hotel for families with lots of things to keep children entertained. We were a family group of 15. Excellent food in the restaurant and a good selection of drinks from the bar. Friendly staff. One downfall: We had an altercation with another group of guests over something minor. This was quickly settled however, whilst trying to settle this...

I am aware the hotel is a budget all-inclusive hotel and I wasn't expecting much, but nevertheless I was disappointed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is clean but that is the only positive thing. They organize local entertainment but since the hotel is not very large, the noise is loud almost all day (starting at 8 am!),...

We stayed at a villa for 4 days late July 2015 and had great time. The resort provided transportation from/to the villa, if we wanted. But we decided to walk most of the time because it was a pleasant walk. The villa was close to the main resort. The villa had 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen,...

We spent 2 hours trying to register because they needed passports to check in even though passports were entered in their database when we paid for rooms. They were going to refuse us to stay after driving for 4 hours from Cali with two toddlers and an elder. After the issue was resolved with copies that were sent from Cali,...

The food is really good at all times. The entertainment at night is pretty good as well. The bar although most of the time ok could use some improvements. Like at night they could update their cups. Further their English signs have bad grammar or they mean to say the opposite. If you want the horses get to the line...

I will recomend this place for a families with teenagers and small kids, the food is good and the rooms are confortables. the only issue is the misinformation from the staff, about activites in the hotel and the parks, because of that we lost time and we miss the visit to the park of the cafe

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Only 34 kilometers from Armenia and 56 kilometers from Pereira you will fin the first agricultural-themed hotel in the world, with an infrastructure surrounded by a huge natural park that gives it its name and that involves all the philosophy of the countryside. Together with Decameron Las Heliconias, Decameron Panaca is one of the only two #AllInclusive hotels in the eje cafetero, one of the most representative and traditional regions of the south American nation, and that became known internationally due to the quality and originality of its emblematic export product: coffee. The hotel’s design, villas surrounded by huge grassy fields and forests, harmoniously integrate all the facilities in a typical country environment, with diverse interaction and entertainment spaces for adults and children. Its strategic location also allows travelling to 20 alternatives of tourism attractions that adorn the “Cultural Coffee Landscape”, declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO. Aside from the National Agricultural Cultural Park – PANACA, where the hotel’s structure is located, a few kilometers away you will find the Botanical Gardens, the Mariposario (Butterfly Farm), the Quimbaya Gold Museum and the National Coffee Park, as well as the possibility to practice canopy or rafting at the La Vieja River or walk hike through the Cocora Valley, which finally makes this hotel one of the best tourist attractions. ... more   less
