Shadow Lake is a precious gem. Lesser known than other backcountry lodges in the Rockies such as Assiniboine and Skoki, Shadow trumps its competition with better value, better accommodations, and better food. The individual log cabins hand built by the Brewsters (the lodge has a...More

You are able to bike the first 12km on the Redearth trail, then you must lock your bikes and hike the last 2km. You will gain 1500' on this trail, there are a few good hills, but the trail itself is not challenging.

Thank you for your inquiry. Most cabins can sleep 4 people (2 beds per cabin). A few cabins can also accommodate an additional cot to sleep a 5th person.
