I was there for 3 nights after my photography tour with Philip Norman. The location of this hotel is superb and just a block down from the Banff bus to the Calgary International Airport. It is basically a 13 room house that has been converted into a lodge. It is very centrally located and convenient to the main street of...

This is a period property which is charming, but bedrooms are on the smaller side, our bathroom was tiny, minimal space to stand when getting our of shower. There is a guest kitchen which can be used for cooking basic meals, making hots drinks and a fridge for guests to use (no fridges or tea and coffee making facilities in...

We stayed at the Blue Mountain Lodge for only two evenings, but it served as our centralized location for visiting the rest of the park, Banff city and Lake Louise/Lake Moraine. Very easy walking distance to Banff City (1 block), great location for piking up guided tours (120 feet) and the accommodations were wonderful. Breakfast was above average and more...

Stayed at The Blue Mountain Lodge in late August for 3 nights.. Was made welcome upon arrival, and the Bed & Breakfast has a homely feel to it. Its quite a quirky place, with a lot of character to suit the feel of the local town of Banff. Its around a 5 minute walk to Banff Avenue, and all the...

On all my trips so far I have something like this never experienced. And this is my first negative review, otherwise I can adapt very well to situations arising in lodging. But this must be said: Booking.com guests are 2nd class guests for the Blue Mountain Lodge! The room (no. 7 - Beaver, 2nd floor) is a disaster! Narrow, attic,...

The lodge is located just two blocks from the Main Street. Each of the third floor rooms is cozy with a slanting roof and cute rustic touches. The Trapper room fits three beds and has its own bathroom. Guests are free to use the kitchen which can save on food costs. Breakfast includes croissants, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee and hard...

A wonderful lodge B&B in Banff, with very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable team running the place. My wife, 2yr old and I stayed in August for 2 nights, greeted warmly by our French host who gave us lots of information about Banff; hikes, dining and other attractions. Our room (No. 1) on the first floor was a great size, even...

Blue Mountain Lodge is a block or two from downtown Banff and as such gets some traffic. Our rooms were on the second floor on the Caribou Street side, and there was quite a bit of street noise. The windows had to be open because it was August and warm, or we would have closed then to reduce the noise....

Blue Mountain Lodge was very helpful with planning our vacation. After we booked a room, we received an email with suggestions of what might be destinations that could be combined with others. Also, Emilie was very congenial and handy with her map, explaining where to go and how to get there. She took a personal interest in our travels and...

Historic b&b in a good location. Unfortunately, still in the past. Staff extremely helpful but no lift and we were expected to lug our cases to the attic room. Beds were situated under sloped ceilings, one with a bear skin hung over it (not for me), very claustrophobic. Small bathroom and very hot at night. Some nights were disturbed by...
