Excellent customer service! Older hotel, but nice! Rooms were small, walls are thin, but beds were extremely comfortable! Would recommend to other individuals in the future! Great location! Close to the lake!

Good location, which is very near to Lake Louise. Helpful and warm-hearted employees and delicious dinner. Very useful self coin laundry where we could wash all our dirty clothes. Also there is a room we could play games.

What can we say? You stay at Deer Lodge because it's convenience to Lake Louise which is within walking distance but the rooms are quaint to say the least and you can't swing a cat in them. Plenty of old fashioned 1920s features and if you like that sort of thing by all means it's fine for a night or...

A grand hotel located right beside Lake Louise. Very old school lodge style hotel, you feel like you could be in the 1920's . No TV in the rooms so you will have to amuse yourselves :) Great view of the mountains from your room, with burbling stream right across the street.

Having travelled across Canada for the past 4 weeks this is the most we have paid for a room and the least facilities that we have received. We were put in room 306 which was tiny. Only room for a double bed and 1 bedside table. Nowhere to sit other than on the bed. There was no breakfast included in...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your room. Our Lodge rooms are located in the original section of the historic building, which is reflected in their size and features. We offer these simple accommodations as a reasonably priced option in an otherwise expensive area. I...

perfectly located steps from world famous Lake Louise, it's worth it to go to Deer Lodge just for the parking space near the Lake! Good dinner menu, enjoyed a good meal with no reservation and the lodge in general. Friendly desk staff.

Beautiful setting, with free use of wifi, a hot tub and pool table which is great for the kids! Room interior is basic but acceptable. Walking distance to Lake Louise with views from the terrace of the mountains!

Hotel was very classic with authentic atmosphere. Our room had fantastic two beds. And nice chairs to sit and plenty of space in the room. Superb! The bathroom was fully eguiped. Everywhere dimmeble lights. In the hotel restaurant great food. Tasty and not extreme expensive. Even a great wine list. Highly recommended.

Had some reservations after reading reviews. However if you book one of the new style rooms, you will definitely not be disappointed with your visit. Rooms with balconies were beautiful and our evening meal was one of the best from a 3 week trip. Location cannot be beaten as you avoid the busy location of the fairmont. We looked at...

Our room, number 318, was just short of being a cupboard. The bed was a small double, though the reception clerk maintained it was a ' Canadian standard double'. There was a card placed above a small wash basin warning us not to run the hot and cold water at the same time. The card was entitled 'scald warning'. The...
