We stayed here at the Moraine Lake Lodge for three nights 15, 16 & 17 August last year. It was a toss up between Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, but after lots of research I thought Lake Louise would be too busy and commercialised. And gee did I make the right decision! Moraine Lake Lodge is absolutely superb! We had...

We had an unforgettable stay here this past summer. The setting (being the only property right on Moraine Lake) is just incredible. The rooms are a little rustic but definitely "rustic-luxurious" if there is such a thing. The service was so warm and gracious. The valets/porters helped us with the fireplace, which was such a nice touch on the chilly...

The natural beauty of this lake & the area in general is beyond description. One really should allow several days to take advantage of the hiking, canoeing. Great venue for a wedding or anniversary celebration.

We stayed at Moraine Lake Lodge in September. It was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and very welcoming. We had a King cabin, which had an amazing view of the lake. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. And the lake..... what can I say, breathtakingly beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

From the moment you arrive until you leave the whole experience feels a little bit special. The location couldn't be better, right on the shores of Morraine Lake. You don't need to worry about the crazy tourist parking as the lodge has it's own car park. You are shown to your lovely room which is decorated like a luxury log...

If you are trying to decided between Moraine Lake Lodge or the Fairmount Lake Louise, we think the Moraine Lake Lodge wins hands down. 1. Non-guests are not allowed in the Lodge or the cabin grounds (only in the gift shop). 2. The restaurant is excellent and you only share it with maybe 24 other people. 3. The bungalows are...

When planning our trip with my wife and 2 adult children, we weren''t sure which Banff lakeside to choose from. We're now absolutely convinced that in Moraine and its solitary Lodge, we made the right choice. The rooms were ready before the official check in. Not a single need was unmet which for a wilderness establishment, is unusual.

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of September in one of the deluxe king cabins. What a memorable experience! Moraine Lake's beauty is second-to-none. The lodge is comfortable with free tea/coffee and snacks each afternoon. Breakfast was included and was delicious!!! We had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent although on the expensive side....
