We stayed here on the first night of our most recent Canadian trip. It's a 30 minute drive from the centre of Calgary and situated in a lovely neighbourhood with views across to the Olympic Park. The only noise was birdsong. We had a lovely welcome and the place is very clean. Shared bathroom was not a problem. Had a...

Verna was a very accomodating and hospitable host - friendly but also respectful of her guest's privacy. The location allowed for a beautiful outlook onto Olympic Park (esp with the fall colours) although it was slightly out of the way. Bedroom/bathroom were clean, no issues with the shared bathroom.

Pro's: Verna is so kind and hospitable. Quiet location. Great view. Newly renovated bathroom. Fantastic breakfast. Con's: Uncomfortable beds. Not a place for you if you don't like to chat with strangers.

We stayed at the Cozy Nest for one night on a ski trip. Verna was so welcoming and kind, yet unintrusive. She invited us to chat after we had settled in and we loved hearing her stories. Breakfast in the morning was made to order and absolutely delicious! We felt right at home and loved our stay.

Overlooking the Bow River and adjacent to Bowmont Park, this B & B is a gem for those who love the outdoors (fishing, cycling and hiking) with the convenience of a world class city. Verna is an outstanding host who takes interest in her guests and has significant knowledge about Calgary, transportation and activities. I will return again and again.

It was a very nice staying, clean bathrooms and towels, excellent breakfast with fresh berries and homemade bacon. I highly recommend the place for the budget staying in Calgary. We stayed just for a night, getting from vacations British Columbia back to Eastern-South Alberta and decided to try it, no regrets.

Verna is the most excellent host and nothing is too much trouble for her in looking after her guests. I stayed for three nights in September and would definitely come back and recommend any one wanting to stay in a friendly B & B to stay at the Cozy Nest. The house is positioned overlooking the Bow River and you...

Verna treated us a family and opened her home to us. She directed us to the downtown area which had been flooded only a week before, we could not see a sign of any flooding. Her home has a beautiful view of the Bow River valley and the Olympic ski runs on the opposite side. Would highly recommend it. Verna...

The house is lovely and Verna is a very nice hostess. She was very helpful and welcoming, has been running this B&B for more than 20 years. Breakfast is prepared for the guests according to the wish.
