We laid on an itchy bed, and tried to fall asleep as we heard foot steps and sketchy transactions happening outside our door. At one pointing considered pushing some of the furniture in front of the door, as we felt very unsafe in this room, not to mention a gigantic red pool stain on the carpet... You're better off sleeping...

Hubby and I had to find a place in a hurry while on an emergency visit for our daughter in Foothills hosp. We ended up in Calgary during stampede time, and wanting to be close to the hospital we were lucky to find a place, and ended up here. There is nothing red carpet about this cesspool at all. I...

This is the worst place I have ever seen, they advertise "clean rooms" they need a lesson in the meaning of the word clean. People please stay as far away as you can from this place. Disgusting is an understatement.

Loud thumping from the other rooms until midnight. Needs to be renovated. Police were in the parking lot within minutes of us checking in...not sure why. Would never stay here again. I found bugs in the tub and the shower was to short to stand under.....a very unpleasant stay.

The service was very unreliable. In the middle of trying to pop popcorn my microwave started sparking & made funny noises. I had asked for a new microwave but all they told me was "it's okay it will work still". I also was unable to have 2 guests over. It was going to be a movie night but guests were...

I have never nor will I ever stay in a place this disgusting ever again. I recommend you sleep in your car or on a park bench. The floors were filthy and stained.....The sheets were dirty and stained to the point where I refused to sleep under the sheets. The bathroom floor was ceramic tile but still had urine spots...

The room we stayed in was dirty. Potato chips on the floor, and it was dirty everywhere. Certainly hope the sheets were changed!! Very expensive, because of an oil and gas show in Calgary. We paid 120.00 for a room that was maybe worth 40.00 Very disappointed.

This hotel is older, but they are trying to keep it respectable. Things were reasonable clean, and in working order. Staff was helpful, and the price was affordable. Location great - not far from university and downtown. We did have a problem with noisy tenants coming in two of our three nights. They arrived at 1:30 AM and made noise...

I've been to the Red Carpet Inn about ten times in the last half year or so. It's clean, it's quiet and off the beaten track. As of now, in 2014 you can't find much around the hundred dollar mark. If you want clean sheets, a bath you can soak in without worry, and a simple place to crash for...
