I checked into this mouse infested dump mid September 2013 for a long term stay while looking to rent a space in the area for my new yoga studio. The carpet furniture drapes.. everything was disgusting dirty and smelled strange like moldy rotting food and stale booze. the bed spread hadn't been washed ever I don't think and smelled so...

Booked in for a weeks stay. Had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels and was refused. 1 of 2 beds were made only once in 7 days and the top sheet was left on the chair???? Was scalded multiple times in the shower every day. Smelled terrible. There is lots more.

Stayed during Stampede week of 2012 and no other hotels were available in Calgary so we chose to go with this one for i believe about 100 cad per night. Which was a very good rate during Stampede Week as other hotels charge 200+ per night. However, with this we did pay with the quality of the room. The room...

Hotels in Calgary are particularly expensive - and it is quite difficult to find any under $100 an night, especially if you wish to stay close to the main highways and freeways. The Red Barn is an exception. It is right on Hwy 16, close to the University of Calgary campus. On the other hand, since it's relatively inexpensive, you...

It was 7 at night, and Calgary was full. At least hotels I had names and numbers for were either full or in the $200 range. The man at the front desk was helpful when I asked for a quiet room and gave us one right behind the office, so we would not hear cars and doors. He said that...

Great staff. The man at the desk was very helpful. Rooms smell and look great. The bed: the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the pillow made me want to keep it. Bigger bathroom then others I've stayed at. Clean.

This place is one of the better values in Calgary. Good weekly rates. Friendly and helpful staff. I stayed there 2 weeks and thought it was a great value for the price.

We found the hotel on trip advisor. We were just looking for a place to crash which was perfect. We looked at the room before we committed, and agreed that it looked clean. It met it's needs for a place to sleep. If you like pillows, you may need to ask for extra pillows, as there are only two and...

Business takes me to Calgary a few times a year. For this particular trip, my office neglected to reserve a room for me and instead offered me an expense account for the usual cost of the trip. Given the opportunity, I decided to check into a motel and save myself some money. Driving into Calgary, the Red Carpet Inn was...
