Stayed here during the Women's Football World Cup. had a great time, superb location to the night life of Whyte street while still far enough away to be quiet. Great facilities and well appointed dorm rooms. Bus stops are very close by and the trains (LRT(?)) and trams (street cars) not too far away either. Highly recommend for those on... More

Very nice location in a quiet neighbourhood one block off whyte avenue. Easy to find. There is lots to offer here for accommodation ...I had a private room with a bathroom for 95.00 great value when you look at downtown accommodation running at 200 a night. they also have rooms with two beds but then you will be sharing with... It was an ok stay, the location is good, with buses you easily get everywhere, staff is very friendly, the place is big, good common area, game room, kitchen big enough. Rooms a bit small though, bathrooms ordinary but maintained, I'd say middle-ranked hostel.

I stayed in an eight bed dorm for three nights. There is very limited space if you have a bottom bunk, causing you to bump your head easily on the above bunk. The hostel doesn't provide breakfast. The kitchen is well set up and possesses a number of hot plates and cooking utensils. The hostel is located near many pubs... More

Stopped for two nights in an 8 bed dorm, never stopped in a hostel before, would only stop again if no other options, not really for me I suppose. That being said the staff were excellent, very knowlegable & polite. The wifi and facilities were good as was the location, well served by bus and the LRT.

Staff is outstanding. The price is very good $33 for me to only share the room with one other person. Internet is laggy in the room and doors slam. All else is good. Good location. Again staff are great people

The hostel is very well located, close to the famous Whyte Av. That's said, the cleanliness is terrible. We stayed there for 10 days and they haven't cleaned our room at least once! The bathrooms are also dirty. They don't have enough staff for cleaning, so the job is made by receptionists who are not professionals on this. Hopefully we... More

Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations. If you're staying in a private room for a number of days, just ask us and we will gladly do extra cleaning in your room. We do have a Housekeeping department, which includes a night cleaner. Our front desk staff are separate from our cleaning staff. We clean the... More

Stayed for a night. First timer in hostelling. Staff were really friendly. Rooms were ok and had a good sleep, that is if you have nice quiet roommates. Apart from some super loud dudes way past the quiet time at 11pm, everything else was ok. Parking is a little bit tight..would have to depend on luck to get one. Sower... More

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you found our staff very friendly and that you had a good sleep. We have 12 free parking stalls out back and if those are full, we can direct you to further parking options. We do have one washroom that still needs some up updating, but all of our other washrooms were renovated a... More

All staff were super friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the location is fantastic! It's a little warm in the rooms, but hardly a deal breaker. If I'm in the area I would definitely stay again.

Helpful staff, when you need any information they'll try to do the best to simplify everything. Very clean rooms, kitchen and living room. There is a game room, it's seems to be a good place to spend some time, but from the rooms you listen almost everything if people isn't quite enough. One thing that i didn't like was the... More
