This is my second camping experience in Canada and first planned by myself with my wife. I will love to say my planning to choose this camp ground paid off very well. I had few options left to select as this is a popular camping destination still i was able to get unserviced site with pit. My site was 9j,...

We tented here for a night and it's a nice stop. The showers are warm and relatively clean. There are campsites that are both in wide open spaces, or in slightly treed areas. We have stayed in both areas and they're fine for our purposes.

We have not stayed at Whistlers or Wapiti campgrounds in a few years until this past week. A tour through Whistlers shows that extensive work needs to be done in upgrading the roadways and the access to campsites. Admittedly, the unusual summer rains have 'divoted' the roads extensively, however this wouldn't have happened if the roads had have been in...

Yes Sandra, we agree. Parks Canada is preparing for a major overhaul of the Whistlers Campground in 2018. The government of Canada has made a commitment of funds to improve the campground as well as many other favorites. Thanks so much for your input. Kindest regards

We booked a site about a week before arrival, it was the only full hookup pull through site available, I'm thinking it must have been a cancellation because I've heard that it's hard to get a site here on short notice. We enjoyed our stay here, the campground is very pretty with lots of mature trees, and it is well...

Our group of 14 had an adventurous time trying to locate the showers at this massive campground. Once finally there, I had to keep pressing the button every 5 seconds to keep the water flowing. The shower head was faulty and the water fell against the wall. Most frustrating shower of my life! Decided to skip showering the next day...

This campground is very much like the big campgrounds in the U.S.. It has flushing toilets and running water in the washrooms, a playground for the kids and other activites for them also. It also has an area that has showers. While wandering around I noticed that there was some yurts also (not sure of the price). This campground is...

This is a great campground with fairly large and private sites. It's a good place for those in tents or campervans because bathrooms are frequent and clean. Showers are free too (though less frequently located than toilets). There are large sinks for washing dishes. If you are biking in and don't have a secure place to store food there are...

This lovely quiet wooded campground is only 2 km south of the town of Jasper. There are fire and no fire loops, and sites range from totally unserviced to fully serviced (30w E, W, S). There is considerable variability as to site size and privacy. Full service sites seem to have the least privacy and tend to be small. We...

We loved our 3 nights stay here. The showers were clean and our toilet block was fairly new and clean. There was plenty of wood and it was a great location, just outside the town. There was a lot of space between sites and it felt very private.

This is a great campground but without some of the basic services. We only had electricity as a hook up had to get water as we came into the park and flush the tanks on our way out. However the park is basically left to nature with huge tall trees and elk wandering through the campsite. Campsites are large and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Parks Canada interpreters put on evening shows all summer long, and a new interpretive trail running through the campground means it’s an easy walk or bike ride to town for an ice cream afterward. Those looking to rough it without getting their clothes too ruffled can reserve new Cottage Tents, where you bring your own food, drinks, axe and bedding, and Parks Canada will take care of everything else. ... more   less
