We (2 couples) have just stayed at the Gingerbread House. We had the top floor, consisting of 2 lovely bedrooms, a huge bathroom, a sitting room & a small balcony. Breakfast, consisting of muesli & yoghurt, bagels, pastries & fresh fruit, tea & coffee was served downstairs. Easy walking distance to town & restaurants, & plenty of on street parking... More

My group of 6 spent two nights at the Gingerbread House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In particular, we enjoyed the upstairs tea/library room and balcony as a nice place to hang out in the evenings. I also liked having access to the kitchen in the basement suite. The location is excellent as you can walk downtown. Rita was very... More

We too found this lovely place at the tourist information center. Very clean and very comfortable and very welcoming. The Gingerbread House is located right in Jasper and is minutes walk from the Main Street ,restaurants and shops. Park your car and walk.

The house was centrally located and absolutely beautifully decorated and so cozy. One of the best night sleeps we had our whole 10 day trip through the Rockies. Rita was... More

We stayed for 4 nights in the basement apartment. Very comfortable bed and nicely decorated. Location was outstanding for access to town, very short walk. Rita had great advice on activities, and provided a simple and tasty breakfast (Bagels, yogurt, fruit, muesli).

We arrived in Jasper without a booking and found this gem on the noticeboard at the Tourist Information Office. The very friendly Rita gave us a small cosy basement apartment with a small living room, a gas fire and a tiny kitchenette. She was really helpful and gave us lots of information about Jasper NP and also dining suggestions. Breakfast... More

We stayed in the Kerkeslin Room, a lovely room with vaulted ceiling which was very tastefully decorated. Next door there was a cosy sitting area with a fridge and drinks making facilities leading to a balcony. The shared bathroom is very large with a gorgeous bath and separate shower. Rita is very informative and offers good advice on what to... More

An amazing house with a beautiful garden & a wonderful informal atmosphere. If you want someone there to wait on you hand & foot go to a hotel. Rita lets people into her home & we personally loved the relaxed way she runs the place - she wasn't there when we arrived but came back every hour to check for... More

Found this beautiful place on the web, read the reviews on trip advisor and booked and so glad we did! We flew out to Alberta to surprise our dear friend for her 60th birthday and spent 3 days/nights in Jasper. Rita was so accommodating, lots of information on local events etc! So convenient to downtown, an easy walk for sure!... More

My husband and I spent three nights at Rita's Gingerbread House this fall. We found our stay to be very comfortable and Rita to be extremely knowledgeable about the area. We would highly recommend the Gingerbread House to folks looking for a central, comfortable home in a central location.
