What a great experience for my first time at a B&B. The Jones family could not have be more inviting and kind and the location is unbeatable. Great food and great people. Will definitely be back. Thanks again! Paul
My three friends and I stayed for three nights as we were doing some hiking in the area, and we had the place to ourselves. Mike, Adriana and their 17-year-old twins, Mikayla and Tayla, made us feel like family. They were so welcoming, friendly and interested! The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and has everything you would need. They are following the Covid rules, wearing masks while cooking. There is a lot of deck space so spacing could be done if there were more people. The beds were comfortable, there was lots of hot water for showering, the air conditioner worked, and the kitchen was well stocked (there was way more than we expected). Each day we were asked to choose our breakfast for the next day, and the selections included Eggs Benedict, French toast, pancakes, an omelette, or yogurt with granola and fruit. A delicious fruit plate was served at every meal. There was even a chocolate on our pillow when we arrived! Mikayla is an excellent photographer, and Tayla entertained us with her guitar-playing and singing (many original songs). Mike takes guests out on fishing trips (sturgeon in particular), and Adriana fills in all the gaps. :) The property itself has stairs, which should be kept in mind for people with mobility issues. The view from the deck is spectacular! The hot tub is clean and overlooks the Fraser River. All four of us loved every minute of our stay there and highly recommend it. It was hard to say goodbye to this lovely family!…
We sent some of our employees for a team building experience and they have not stopped raving about the lodge, fishing and hospitality. Videos and pictures are flying around the office and we will most definitely book again next year!
Our trip to Chilliwack BC was an absolute stunner! Staying here at the Fraser River’s Edge B&B was the icing on the cake. The food was fantastic, the lodge warm and welcoming, the million dollar view and sunsets were absolutely stunning. Rooms are equipped with A/C, fridge, coffee & tea station, water, snacks, TV, towels and toiletries. There is even a counter and chairs overlooking the Fraser river out the window to sit and enjoy a coffee. Community decks are throughout the property along with a couple of fire pits. The hot tub was a nice touch too. Can’t wait to go back!
Where to begin. The accommodations themselves are warm and inviting. Entering into the main building feels like getting a warm hug. The vibe is super relaxed but the decor is well appointed. The room itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Large bathroom and super comfy bed. The views are spectacular - mother natures at its best. Try and be on the main deck with a cocktail or tea to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. The hosts were knowledgeable and gracious. The breakfast was beyond my expectation - delicious and filling. I can't say enough great things about our hosts. Definitely a highlight of our trip out west.
